Re: Ro
It was funny for me to see how one, passing comment in a pub lead to Ro insisting to be hired as my pc's maid for days on end. Funnier even to instead have him stumble down the good ol' Banite rabbit hole. Good times, good roleplay. I had fun trying to mess with him on the warlock. Ro was pretty coo...

Re: DM Titania
I've always enjoyed interacting with Titania's characters, who in my eyes always manage to breathe life into the day-to-day on goings of the server. Not to mention that between her willingness to help others and her dedication to running all manner of on-going stories, my experiences with her as a D...

Re: Delivery Writs: Enable them for Commoners
As an aside, I find it quite strange that it is currently impossible to carry more than one package at once. I recently thought it'd be a fun idea to caravan my way from Brogendenstein to Cordor, handing out packages to settlements along the way but was told outright that I can only hold one. This m...
Re: AA Love
please don't derail this thread with bad building advice. like ork said, it's purpose was solely to suggest that a QoL change be given to arcane archers and potentially any characters that simply invest a focus feat into a ranged wep. this is the place to discuss the procs and cons of such a change ...
Re: AA Love
I wholeheartedly endorse this. It makes no sense whatsoever that any character truly committed to archery would be incapable of fashioning together their own ammunition, nor is it at all practical to play such a character and find yourself dependent on a particular ranger or their shop.

Re: -notell
To be honest, I never really thought twice about the people who use no-tells. A minor inconvenience in the case of post pvp perhaps, but it's not something I ever felt strongly about (though I do see the merits on both sides). I just rarely send out tells as it is. This thread makes me kind of glad ...

Re: Controversial Opinion - Running
9 times out of 10 if someone runs by me in a dungeon it's because they're trying to steal xp, writ progress, and/or loot. It's not because they're staying true to the nuances of their character (which is, itself, a contrived excuse). i'll respond accordingly, but I think it's pretty hard to justify...

Re: Kudos from a Happy Green Elf
You're exactly the reason why I strive to give every new player to the server a chance. Dregan is a great character, and to have witnessed her journey from being fresh off the boat into becoming the elf she is now has been phenomenal. I look forward to roleplaying with you more in the future, be it ...

Re: Knockdown in PvE
I feel as though certain people didn't read the thread title or OP at all. What's being talked about is the usefulness (or reduction of such) of knowdown in PvE scenarios. At any rate, I agree in that the CD should be removed against monsters or at the very least reduced. There exist plenty of mobs,...

Runic Materials: A review
Runic materials have been on the server for a small while now, and are well sought after by any characters with an ambition to increase the potency of their gear towards the latter half of their playtime. However, some materials in particular eclipse others entirely in their value. This phenomenon i...

Re: Mundane Enchanting with the new Deity system
I'm most likely biased, but I do think a change would be for the better. Allowing for piety godsaves to occur regardless of your deity is effectively meaningless if you're still obligated to be attuned to a K&I god. The game won't consider you an enchanter otherwise and you'd never be able to create...

Mundane Enchanting with the new Deity system
Hey. I recently hit level 21 on a character of mine, which I planned from the beginning to make into a tier III dweomercrafter. When the time came I put an equal investment of 18 skill points in both craft armor and weapon, which was meant to pass the threshold necessary for each of the tiers and ge...

Re: Racial character resizing not working
And here I thought the bug was only happening to me, since I didn't see it brought up anywhere else!
Can characters that were made during that period be allowed a resize at the customization area? Not that it's really that big a deal visually, either way.

Re: Monk builds
no "unarmed" weapons exist to provide the same bonus to AB and damage that a masterly damask weapon would. To enchant properties on them such as keen and so on. To apply essences on them, permanent or temporary. Monk gloves give same ab bonus and damage as masterly damask weapons and you can apply ...

Re: Monk builds
Monks are in a strange position regarding unarmed fighting. They get bonus feats to have epic weapon focus and spec for it, however they don't get the prerequisites to either. Which, in essence, means you're expected to sacrifice two feat slots in order to be on the same pedestal as a monk that's us...

Re: Monster Creep and Dungeon Difficulty - Is it a problem?
I don't think this is relevant. I mean, if he is, I don't really see why he's still permitted to post on the forums. Anyhow, I don't think there's any way to really prevent specific people from finding a way to steamroll a fight. Tailoring dungeon difficult to counter "optimized" builds would just ...

Genuinely painful at this point. I haven't been able to reliably go out adventuring or really play the game in any mechanical function without constant rubber-banding.

Re: Naertho Omayra
Not gonna lie, I was really shocked both IC and OOC to hear that Naertho had been popped off. At least he got to go down smack dab in the middle of the finale, fighting off waves of Duergar to save the island! Maaaan, I wish we'd done a bit more before then but either way. I liked him and should you...
