Re: There's too Many UD Portal Exceptions

I'm fine with fewer portals to be honest.

Re: There's too Many UD Portal Exceptions

The Hub portal limitation prevents surface gank squads from showing up to wipe everyone out. That's its one job and it does it well. I don't think it's ever meant to tightly control who belongs and doesn't. Yeah some races can play both sides, but Arelith isn't Horde Vs Alliance and that grey area ...

Re: There's too Many UD Portal Exceptions

A reminder that there is an unrestricted portal hidden literally inside Andunor that anyone who wants to kill ppl there can just use.

Re: There's too Many UD Portal Exceptions

There's also many portals hidden in ud, even really close to (or just straight up inside) Andunor, that do not have such restrictions.

Re: If you could play ANY sort of DRAGON or DRAGON-LIKE Player Character...

Probably a brass. Or a copper.
Or a prismatic or some other weird dragon type i'd dig out.
Considering how much i love magic you can probably figure out what i'd play. Or not! Who knows.

Dragons are cool.

I like trog house. Kind of empty but otherwise it's got a theme going, and the emptiness can easily be filled with proper fixtures.

I know i'm not a dev or anything, and it's gonna sound INTENSELY RANDOM
But

Try setting your cloak model in appearances to 0.

This thing was happening to me on my kobold too and setting the cloak to 0 fixed it for me.

Loss of gruesome does not surprise me. Neither does reduction to lifesteal. But the skillpoints...

Re: Wiz & Sorc Adjustments

I wouldn't go as far as to say "wizard summer is coming" but the sheer fact that i can buff my allies without them running away from me or politely asking me to make distance because my buffs are easier to dispel than their potions is a big improvement imo. Pureclassed wizard getting cl 33 vs dispel...

https://i.postimg.cc/G3ydG6rK/obraz-2024-04-08-191524020.png Regarding tribals and shadowdancer's summon shadow. Summon shadow works 100% correctly, it seems. Tribals are off though. One of them is -OFTENTIMES- invisible. (I assume it's trying to pull a female kobold model?) For the record, i DID c...

Re: WM?

Imo the fact that so many balance changes had to be made specifically because of weaponmaster passives, combined with how common it is to just shove weaponmaster into every melee build (even dex), plus the previous sentiment that non-wm mundanes (so not paladins and not spellswords) are just kinda u...

Re: We need better rewards for grouping for dungeons

Just gonna chime in that imo a rather meaningful factor for ppl wanting to speedrun dungeons instead of talking in it is buff duration. They're not infinite, and ventures can be long, and you kinda don't want the duration to run out. But to address the OP, i do agree that there should be a good ince...

Re: Summon Adjustments

Revert the stat changes, or allow us to buff them with mass spells. Removing both was too much. I'd personally like to see those ammo-limited casters being given some actually meaningful and sustainable casting power for longer ventures but idk how it's supposed to be given without straight up givi...

Re: Feylocks No Longer Have A Damage Spell

I guess evasion is a factor still?
All the spells that got cooldown on it ignored evasion through being fort save and all.

Plus fire damage is more commonly resisted in pve too. I assume that's a factor as well.

i'm reeeeeally curious about golem performance after the most recent adjustments. since normally they were kinda. squishy, and incredibly weak. also golems dropping parts and heart mean you don't lose them permanently when they die, it seems? which is a good change imo as well. the part about them b...

If we're talking about other possibilities then i'll add that i'd absolutely love to not have to use summons on my wizard. For the record: I'm not really against the notion of "Wizards are supports", hell, i'm cool with that. The problem, in my eyes, is that they... Really aren't even that, mostly. Up until now the best tactic was to get a summon and, yes , support it with your stuff as a wizard. That is, buffs, cantrip...

I don't want to kick the hornet nest, but this probably will.. Wizards are a Support class . There, I said it. Whilst we wait for the angry responses... This isn't Lord of the Rings, Wizards aren't celestial creatures. In DnD they are a support role, that assist the rest of the party to overcome ch...
