Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
The trident is listed as a X2 crit range, but it crits for X3.
Stats of the weapon:
Damage on a crit:
Although surely there are more important things to work on. I mean tridents are not the strongest base weapons and all that. No doubt these smaller things can wait *cough*.

Should be Sergeant's not Sargeants.

Bendir Dale (Earthkin Village), Altar of the Green Sister next to the Earthkin portal not useable.

Arelith - Surface requires sync everytime. And even after syncing, you enter in game and home screen shows up, and you can't close it or game will be closed. So it's not playable there. I don't know if it's a bug or an update issue, or maybe an update you're working on. Its started today by the afternoon. Others servers (Underdark, Distant, Cordor) works fine as usual.

You need to turn hide 'second story tiles' off in game options I think. Then you'll see the top half.medicarwen wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 2:03 pmSkal (Dun Umra) Skaljard Village.

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
That's right, and it really is crucial. I tried to convince Beamdog to turn it off by default, but no luck yet (now they have this keyholing thing there is even less reason to keep it).
Every player should turn off 'Hide Second Story' tiles, I even mention it in the entry area.

Can you put tips like that on loading screens? Or is that not possible yet.

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
In Almshouse in Cordor, there is a dwarf woman NPC that is listed as human when you look at her. I'm not sure if this is a mistake or if this is just a very short, robust human woman. Its very confusing.

Bendir Dale (Trader's Route) North of Tungston Turret, following path of signs to Greyhammer.
The waypoints that are the destinations of transition triggers leaving the territory northward, place you INSIDE the transition trigger of the destination.
What this means is... if you are 'drivving' your character with the forward keyboard button... as soon as you move in the new territory, you TRIGGER the transition to send you back from whence you came.
The waypoints need to be pushed a SMIDGE further away from the transitions.
This is especially problematic with familiars/animalcompanions/summons in tow.

Just noticed, the PGCC - for all its wonder - is missing all things padded, leather, and hide. It would be neat if these could be added to a vendor.

When adding a +4 permanent essense to a Dale Sword - I get no firey effect on the weapon.
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Did you apply 1d4 damage bonus via enchantment before adding +4? If yes, that is the reason.goblinhero wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 4:10 pmWhen adding a +4 permanent essense to a Dale Sword - I get no firey effect on the weapon.
Edited for grammar to make it worse, probably.

Ah - nm then. Didn't think the order mattered. Thanks!
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
No problem. I learned "order matters" thing after hours of experiment while trying to copying weapon VFX to shadowdancer's shadow.

Martella's business model has taken a turn. Checked it on a few separate occasions, so doesn't seem to be the usual 'Whoops, I've grabbed the wrong conversation tree because of server load' problem.
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Not sure if this is already covered or intentional:
The half-orc pirates in Skal, at the Harbage and surrounding areas, in spite of description, appearance and names, are in fact orcs.

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Poison immunity at least from the Property poison immunity (I do not know if its the case for the feats like Venom Immunity, Perfect Health do this) - causes you to automatically fail the "stink aura" poison clouds from Troll Plaguebearers, Anguillan, Ghouls, Tyrantfog Zombies, Trogdylytes, etc - and you get the stat penalties.
This is something that happens in base NWN as well. Possible to fix?

(Tested on the PGCC)
Using the ESF: Illusion clone feature on a summoned elemental creates a horrible abomination that should not be. Also, it's invisible.
Also, secondary bug - While you can order projected images to -sit, -kneel, etc, these seem to be bound to default NWN durations. That is, about half a second. Assuming this is meant to be indefinite, as it is for players.

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
most likely an oversight while lowering the gear levels of the "lower" crafting weapons:
Craft: Tailoring, Wips
Weapon: Mastercraft barbed whip
Bug: like all masterwork (steel) weapons, the whip has AB+2 and damage bonus +4 (as a whip slashing), but unlike the others it needs still level 13, not 2 (per wiki, and tested in the PGCC).

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
The NPC Kasha Derlson in Cordor (I found her in the Derlson manor) says a few strange things about arcane magic drawing power from a deity. I think this may have been the case on Arelith years ago, but not now, since arcane casters use components for higher level spells. That part of the conversation should likely be redrafted or snipped.
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Another odd conversation in Cordor, Toman the food vendor mentions Wharftown as if it were a living village, whereas it happens that it has been destroyed long ago.
