Description of Bug Experienced:
Chat dialogue no longer goes into logging.

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Chat logging seems to have stopped capturing some dialogue windows. Specifically I was using it to grab the "View Sales Log" information from a shop and record that information. Some other NPC dialogue gets logged, message boards don't, a notebook message read from inventory does. Last time it worked for me was on 12/11. Next time I tried to pull the log on 12/14 it didn't save the dialogue with all the sales. Moved to the new version on 12/12. I'm guessing it's something to do with that? I made sure all the new config logging was on.

Expected Result:
Dialogue from the window goes into chat log:

FYI, for anyone dealing with this as well, I have made a Beamdog support and post on their forums.

Seems this is tied to the number of characters of the dialogue text. Smaller ~300 character message board posts are making it into the chat log, but anything bigger isn't getting loaded. I passed that on and we'll see if they have anything.

Having the same issue, though I didn't figure out that the length of the post is related. Over in viewtopic.php?f=12&t=26601&p=211336#p211336. I'd say continue any updates in this thread.

FYI, got a response on the ticket:

I've reported this internally, and hopefully it is something that can be fixed with a patch, instead of something that the Arelith team will have to avoid for their conversation based concatenated writing system. Unfortunately I don't have any ideas for work-arounds, beyond playing the game on Linux or MacOS.

Will keep you posted.

You have to use the development branch. If you're in steam right-click and go to beta and use this new version. If you're not on steam, I don't know
