Purple Dragon Knight AB from Rallying Cry does not stack w/ Combat Riding feat AB.
Hello there!
As title the ab bonus from Rallying Cry does not stack with the AB bonus from Rallying Cry from what I have observed so far.
I am a Valiant, which means my 10th level of PDK provides +3 AB when I activate rallying cry.
I am only getting +2 AB when on horseback.
I have the Combat Riding feat which provides +1 AB when on horseback, so, my AB goes up by 2 when that activates instead of adding up to 4.
It is still a gain but it is not a cumulative total.
I don't think that's intended.
Anyway it's posted here.

If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen are defrocked, shouldn't it follow that cowboys would be deranged?

Combat Riding + Rallying Cry = +2
Rallying Cry = +3
?
Did you check the combat log? The character sheet often lies.

A level 10 Valient Knight should get +3 Rallying Cry.
Temporarily back to Arelith and currently Lilliana Snowfire.
If you have unfinished business with Ultrianan, let me know! Arabella has been rolled.

Yus, I was asking the OP if those were the numbers she ended up with.

It would add +2, but it would not go to +3. For example.
When I am on foot I get +3 AB from cry. I will go from 42 to 45.
When I am on horseback I have 43 (+1 from combat riding).
But when I do rallying cry I only get to 45. I should be 46.
The AB types are not stacking, but are bottoming out to the same as if I was on foot.

Did you check the combat log for the same results? The character sheet is very buggy.

Are you hitting an AB increase cap?
Re: Purple Dragon Knight AB from Rallying Cry does not stack w/ Combat Riding feat AB.
Nope.
...and it does not seem I am getting the extra AB. I'll check again, even in the hidden bonuses in chat log, but I'll check.
I am only theoretically at +7 AB in my stuff from +4 from weapon 2/3 from rallying cry/riding.
That means I can increase by 13 or so more AB.
