The "common" rooms of the Cordor Commons have a level of illumination more fitting the Forest of Despair than an inn in a major city. The darkness doesn't seem to be affected by lighting fixtures such as candelabra.
Unless there's some reason for this in the inn's past, I suggest the lighting be increased a couple notches. Or at least it should be possible to change it with lighting fixtures.
