Cavalier: Spirited Charge Bug

Post by Garvik » Sun Nov 22, 2020 8:47 pm

Spirited Charge of the Cavalier is bugged in two ways:

1. Even when the actual buff runs out or the one charge attack has been made the on-hit property put on the lance persists, allowing the cavalier to proc an extra spirited charge hit about once per round on successful hits during its regular 4 APR without ever having to use spirited charge again as long as the temporary on-hit property is on the lance. This hit does not replace any of the regular 4 APR hits, but instead kind of acts like a 5th APR at the 180+1d20 damage (without the added AB from spirited charge, however).

2. When the cavalier applies the on-hit property through using spirited charge and then dismounts, the on-hit property persists on the lance, which can be used even when dismounted. The other behaviour is exactly the same as above, just that the cavalier gets to profit from the chunky extra damage on foot.
