The IC day changes between 18:15 and 18:30 every day rather than at midnight. So between 18:30 until midnight, the Astrolabe day will be one behind the IC day.
I've submitted a suggestion that they change it so the IC day changes at midnight and not this arbitrary time near, but never at, sunset.

I did some digging and you are in fact correct! I'll continue investigating what options are available but I may need to make the Astrolabe behave as it does in game that the day shifts around that time... Will update when we know more.
