How to put your profile pic on?

Everytime I try to upload it, it comes up as 'you need a o to 6 KiB'... wth does that mean?? Little lost..

It means it may not be a larger file than 6 kilobites. (kb) Yes... it is that tiny.

It means I need to relax the restrictions a little :) Will do that momentarily.

Would be nice if I could use my old forum picture. Apparently it's 10 pixels too tall, and 10 pixels too fat.

Oh... lol I'm tryng to figure out how to make it that small. I dont see the optin to save it as that type of file in Paint..

Just for you, rounded the restrictions up to a neat 100x100.

And the file size max is now around 15k.

Yeesh. Try googling an image resizer? If all else fails, google images has a wide selection of 90x90 panda icons. ;)

Download paint.net. It's a free bare-bones photoshop, perfect for simple stuff. Like resizing.

I tried to downsample the gif, make it smaller and lots of other stuff. It just seems I won't get below 15kb with 18 frames in a gif-file :-/

I imagine they generally would be a bigger file than a normal picture, since they move and stuff. (Shamelessly knows nothing.)

I got my gif I wanted to use below 15(14.9 exactly), and once uploaded it wasn't animated. Does anyone know how to get animated gif avatars?

Jpeg Compression, Save For Web/Mobile Devices in Photoshop does the trick :P
