Does Parry AC bonus apply when unarmed?
If the character is fighting unarmed and has no shield and is not a monk, would they gain parry AC bonuses?

Re: Does Parry AC bonus apply when unarmed?
I kind of feel like it should apply if the character has the improved unarmed strike feat (but isn't a monk). One can parry with their hands in a fashion, by deflecting strikes wax on/wax off style. And while unarmed fighting is usually done with both hands, and even feet, knees, elbows, and heads, the current version of the mechanic allows for some off hand weapons to give a half-bonus, so why not unarmed strikes as well?

wax on/off is a monk thing, isnt it? besides, you dont parry swords and projectiles with your bare hands... that's deflect arrow territory or "please slice off my arms" territory. Logically, a monk with a single handed weapon and empty off hand should be able to do it too
and actually get the bonus but its disabled purely for balance reasons.

Technically possible, as parrying incoming attacks with unarmed techniques is a thing, though its less "hands parrying weapons" and more "use your arm to parry the opponents arm, not their weapon"
This is also typically a terrible idea and something you should really only do as a last resort.
