If it helps anyone, I bought the Nintendo Switch version of NWN. If someone would like to use me to test stuff or whatever, I am happy to volunteer.

I did have a question though, I don't know if anyone here knows the answer. I realize Arelith is not yet updated for Switch, but PGCC seems to be. Does anyone know how to use my username for the Switch to get my PW library of characters while on that platform?

I found an answer more or less on the Beamdog Forums. It's nothing urgent obviously, as Arelith isn't even compatible yet. But maybe down the road at some point...

We have discussed that option that you listed from the forums, but it may not be available immediately. It's definitely possible but there hasn't been time lately to talk about the exact viability/implementation of it.

It just seems like a feature that would helpful for those of us who travel frequently and dont play on a laptop. But yes, no pressing matter.

Speaking of the new verison, is there any indicator on how long it will take for Arelith to be updated? =)

How do you communicate with others in the game? Do you have a keyboard? How would it work on the go?

There is a virtual keyboard you bring up by pressing down the right stick activate chat the hit A button. Then you can either type by moving the cruiser to each letter or touching the screen.

I'm playing on Switch currently. It's frustrating. Mainly the communication. I did port forwarding, which was necessary to connect.

Switch supports a USB keyboard which is nice, but only for typing. You cannot control the game. The built in pop up keyboard still jumps up and blocks the screen and control so one cannot see the game screen while typing no matter what. Thankfully using the keyboard is seamless and you just start typing, but RP is very hard.

Otherwise the port works fine. The controls are a little clunky.
