Ranger is high on my "to do" list even as i have two both being in underdark where all maps be nature and you can easily see where writ-ppl are being send too creating them fun nature RP.
As for surface i am thinking to use Emerald Enclave as a refference, semi-secretive group with ceremonies and such, rangers doesnt need leader just player driven events. I would assign each ranger to certain region gathering data, encauntering ppl and be pretty sure something would come out of it....or opposing settlements, undead lovers...there is simply tons of options with updates of new regions.
