They finally found water on Mars. Now they just need to find the Autobots and NASA's job will be done!

If elon musk figures out how to reduce to ticket to mars down to $500,000 like he plans, I would buy one in a heartbeat (if I had $500,000...).

We could become actual moisture farmers!
That would be a dream come true...then droids would show up and play back an MP3 about some princess in need of help...where do I sign up?

Re: Water on the Red Planet
This announcement was definitely worth staying up till 4.30am to watch the official live broadcast. I wonder if, in the future, they will find any evidence to support the idea of underground aquifers, and whether said water would be more pure than the briny, salty oxygen/chlorine trickles they found originally.

I am more surprised that it took so long to catch it on photo and get a undeniable proof about the existence of flowing water. The indirect signs for that were already available a very good time, its funny how big a planet really is if You want to see something specific on it

Personally, I'm looking forward to the announcement that they've found evil water-based zombies on Mars as confirmation we live in the Whoniverse.

Hope they don't dig too deep in their excitement to discover new life...

If we do find life, it will probably look more like this...
And yes, we should still fear it.
