Just realized that Jeremy Soule in a few months celebrate his 40th birthday, December 19th. Means that he was 27 when he composed the music we are listening to every time we log on Arelith.
He also composed a huge bunch of video game music, Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, Harry Potter, Elder Scrolls, Unreal and Star Wars.
Not sure what to say about. My personal favorite is the Waterdeep Theme, it still gives me the thrills, and in general I don't seem to get tired of listening to it.
Video Game Music is highly underestimated, but think about that film music were as well. Now we all remember Ennio Morricone's music to Sergio Leone's famous western movies. And noone is "ashamed" of liking it. Maybe sometime video game music will be as well?
