More than that - it opens up all sorts of possible future options for us. Managing your character vault, checking character bank accounts etc, potentially even stuff like reviewing your quarter timers... having everyone have a login that's tied to the game is a key thing we wanted to achieve with the website rework, and this is Step One.

On a serious note, if we could skip the "Your whatever has been submitted/updated!", that'd be great. :)

Huh, where? You mean when you post a message, the splash screen?

It's actually quite amazing to see this old game pushed into new things like that. Super interesting!

I'll see if I can kill that.

The edit button should be in the top right of the post?

The edit seems sporadic for myself as well, sometimes it's present, sometimes it's not. The removal of the "Your post has been submitted" screen would be really cool also.

Also curious as to whether it's possible to just add the "post a reply" box directly at the bottom of the screen, rather than having to move to a new window? Suppose I'm just used to the old server. >_>

My edit button is missing again. I think we have traded our edit, quote and report buttons for the search feature.

The quote button is as well. You can still manually quote from the text box, though.

Interesting - permissions look to be correct for all of you to edit posts in this thread. And quote should be available to everyone...

I've found references online to language packs messing those two buttons up, but the forums only have one language pack installed (British English). I'll keep digging!
