Cheers to Brogendenstein!

Post by OleBlighty » Wed Sep 23, 2020 5:58 am

I find it staggering that there is not a kudos thread to the fine roleplayers of this faction and its attendant parts.

Here's to the greatness and glory that is Brogendenstein's community. Longer may your beards and richer may your wealth grow.
"Moradin's will! I ask ye, wish not one Dwarf more!
By Clangeddin, I am nae covetous for gold,
Nor care I for comely lasses!
Such outward things dwell not in my desires.
But if it be a sin tae covet honour,
I'm th' most offendin' soul alive!"

Brogendestein is one of the most open and welcoming communities, which is a good thing. Its a super kind group of people that has made it fun to play a dwarf! Cheers, to all you bearded bastards out there!

I second also the shoutout for the dwarves of Brogendenstein, they always have open arms for new people and it's always delightful to roleplay with them, no matter if you are outside of their group or not, they know how to impact your character on a specific way.

Also grumpy dwarves are always fun to roleplay with!

"What nonsense - ye muss' be drunk tae boot OleBlighty m'lad, git sum respite willya-"

Dwarves don't really know how to handle compliments, but players can :)

Y'all are aces in my book, it's been a priviledge playing with you and I am certainly looking forward to the coming days/months/years of excellent dwarf shennanigans!

I played with them, i played against them, both was equally fatastic and i am looking forward for more! :D

And its true, its maybe most mature, welcoming and cooperative faction i know on this server not to mention impact they leave upon current and future Arelith story-wise development. Eeach character there is RPed as a true dwarf to the core and small RP force of its own, but when you unite all...oh boy!

CHEERS!!!

I've seen the foot traffic in Brog slow down over the months. It made me sad, for its such a nice place. However, lately I've been seeing quite a lot of people there, breathing life back into the Golden Halls. Kudos to those who are doing so!

I've played on Arelith for about 3 years, and NWN since it came out back in the 2000's. I've played all sorts of characters, in all sorts of places. And I must say, playing a Dwarf in Brogendenstein has been the best experience I've had playing this game. It's a group of people who are supportive, welcoming, RP seriously (but not too seriously), and generally just bring out the most enjoyable aspects of the game. The amount of negativity I've encountered with this group, basically approaches zero. Just a solid group of people who make Arelith fun for themselves and others, and who understand that building a community is the key to a great RP environment.

And just remember everyone; if you visit the halls: NAE RUNNIN
Of course, optional horse death RP is a possibility.

Brog is hands down my favourite settlement and it deserves all the Kudos - from the friendliest samman who welcomes you with open arms to the grumpiest longshanks hating dwarf who hassles the tallies, its ALL brilliant.

They still haven't allowed me to sacrifice a young shield dwarf on the grand feast table.. Maybe someday. The Derro.

Just dropping this here to say. If It wasent for Bendir and the Hinfolk, I'd probably have long made a dwarf and be in the halls even more than I already play

All y'all dwarves for the past three years have been absolutely a BLAST to play with!
Howling around all year long

We welcome both friends and foes so long as they bring good stories to the forefront!

There's something very special about Brogendenstein. I should really write a long kudos post but it would be a monumental task doing it justice. Maybe one day.

In the meantime, thank you to all you folk who made me feel so welcome after my long hiatus. Being part of Brogendenstein has been a true joy these past months.

Brogendenstein has been a special place for Burin since the beginning. He's long held a close friendship with the Dwarves and there is a deep level of mutual respect and unique RP there which I don't quite get anywhere else. I absolutely love it every time I go for a visit!

Brogendenstein is by far my favourite settlement; even when I was playing elsewhere it was always a joy to come visit and interact with the dwarves. My own dwarves were always fun to play; and the only 'problem' is that I'm in the wrong timezone to get enough time to RP with you all.

Pike of ye stinking manlings!

On a serious note, never had more fun anywhere on Arelith, than in the company of grudging, grumpy good dwarves. Team GGG
