I remember the first time Sil met Salah. She was always so annoyed, so hateful and distrusting of him. But he never stopped talking to her really. As Sil has grown and changed, she started to see the person behind her prejudice and paranoia. Guldorand will lose a great individual in Salah! But also in Ayiesha. That is one powerful power couple! Salah left his mark behind! To me he is very unique and compelling in his own way!
So long, Salah. You and Ayiesha will be greatly missed. I love how your character's culture spilled into other areas (Constabulary, Vizier)

I was considering making my own thread but I noticed you stars have made one already which is deeply touching <3 Thank you.
Salah Al-Layth was surprisingly enjoyable as a character but it was the characters around him which made him such a treat to play. The time he spent as High Sheriff has been both rewarding as a player but not to be underestimated the work (shoutout to everyone who has been settlement leaders, truly changed my perspective on how it is).
But nothing of it would be enjoyable if it wasn't all the engaging characters both working with and against him, all the willingness to engage in engrossing RP and see it aggregate around and prove why Guldorand is the Best Settlement In Arelith (fite me).
It has been a humbling and super fun experience and now Salah will take a long, deserved pause! I want to thank all who have had something to do with Salah in his story, small or big - conflict or friendships. You're all stars and I hope you enjoy many great RP moments onward!

I had a lot of fun on Saorlaith interacting with Salah.
I liked comparing the druid philosophy of balance/the True Cycle with his philosophy of Fate.
I hope we can interact on other characters in the future too. Fun character, nice player, A++.
