Pacting Details:
Most of those who Pact with The Pillars of Miscreation have an existing predisposition to madness through Trauma. (Derro would be too naturally inclined to follow the pact and seek to know more about it through natural born psychosis to be useful to it). They would do something in line with attempting planar travel and either accidentally enter the edge between reality and the far realm, or be pulled there by it and see what they can only comprehend as being the fundamental shape of the universe.
This belief is what offers the entity purchase as an unwitting Warlock, but not unwilling to think that they suddenly have psionic powers without needing to have the psionic organs or long years of training required. Through it, they gain psionics and offer it faith through prideful self-esteem, while it uses them as eyes, ears and at rare times, mouth pieces to spread it's influence.
It encourages it's pacted to become social butterflies, gaining the eyes and ears of many to witness the power, encouraging others to seek out the powers and convert them through various means.
Goals and Motives: The Approaching Madness is precisely that. A far-realm creature slowly attempting to cross into the material plane to cause chaos and madness. It seeks to be entertained with the comings and goings of mortals and through them their gods, ever trying to cause controlled chaos to further deteriorate mental fortitude against it's general boredom. Seeking to be entertained by the madness of mortals.
