Many infamous villains were forged in that black anvil: Lordaryn, Daric, Storm, Jachard, Roman Kelm and Morke. Dra'klaw as far as I knew never owned Zanishbon, rather he warred against it when he ruled Stonehold as stonehold at the time represented baator.

Also missing Keth's reign which took place before the elven twins as keth was first ruler of iron citadael

after sisters I think it was zeer and Cameo I would need someone else to confirm dates though.

after the sisters there was Storm Cross

Then Daric Wenneseph,

Then Nelyata I think was next? then Lordaryn at some point

You got it quite right, mostly! I am impressed, the fortress was a major mess at times ^^

This bit isn't quite correct:

39 AR [POL] Kâ'thea Anêph rules Zanshibon (Once apprentice to Lady Quimelya of the abyss, rules after Lordaryn) (39 AR)

Kâ'thea never ruled Zanshibon and neither did anyone else after Paush took the city. It was always Paush's place, undisputedly. The Fortress is not mechanically bound to the demon lord, although it makes sense for its inhabitants to live with some healthy respect for Paush.

Also, you missed Zharrik Kezzarn Vhrass. He held the citadel for a long time too, he left like 6 months ago. I can't say for certain where he fits in... I'd say between Lillia and Elzi. Yeah, pretty sure that's it!

Edit: Jachard Menseph had it too for a good amount of time... I think through Kallick's and Lillia's reign...? He ruled the fortress himself too, for some period. That was... after Lordaryn was killed.

It might be good to look into the Sharan Wars. The abyss was always closely tied in with Sharans, so it would make sense to connect a few threads there.

EDIT EDIT: Between Selene and Lillia, there were Roman Kelm and Morke, also long-time and loyal members of the fortress...

Yeah, if I recall any other details, I'll leave them here ^^

Correction Zanishbon was led by councillors before there was an Iron Citadael, and it was an inhabitable trade city. That had NPC's that saled speciaty items you coud not get anywhere else on the server. In fact I believe it was suggested at one point in time Zanishbon was a city that once was like Sibyad and just like sibyad it was originally from prime material, that was teleported to the Abyss.

Paush originally was an NPC that would allow you to bind yourself in game to Zanishbon if you wanted to live there, much like how Old Stonehold had a Devil similar to Paush to do the same, when it was Baatorian Stonehold.

This was when portal wands were still in effect at the time and you would teleport to Zanishbon through them.

I unfortunately don't know which arelithian year it was though that Paush kicked everyone out of Zanishbon.

I stand corrected. I wasn't around when Zanshibon was actually habitable, only heard that it wasn't ruled by Paush initially. I wasn't aware that he did actually reside there before he went apesheet to take over town ^^

EDIT: The citadel came into existance shortly before the second Sharan War:

Sadly, I can't give a timepoint to it. Maybe someone else knows when this started? Izaich? Artos? Anyone? ^^

NP, I was, I just wasn't very much involved with the abyss at the time. Am hoping one of the older players might know though.

Also he might have very well ruled Zanishbon then but been the kind of NPC that's like Lord Vetinari, and allowed PC's to govern it.

I just know it was governed by councilors then.

You forgot Thomas Monteverde as the ruler before Elzi. He tried to re-establish a new covenant, failed and handed down the fortress to Elzi, whom was his apprentice of sorts, as a legacy. I don't knwo when he gained it though...

Also, Due to some dealings via Torvas Harlan and the spriggans, The Abyssal fortress now has a portal to the underdark.

I am pretty sure that before "Zharrik Kezzarn Vhrass" was Kel'Var and before him my toon Damien Tagnik'zurr that bartered place with Kel for the old Restfull Mind. Damien used the Black Citadel for brief ritual research regarding some tomes and old abyss contacts on surface. Year might be 91-92 maybe this two guys can check.

Well figured I could add that by the end of year 82, until year 89 - Kyrios Spectre Ruled the Abyss - After 89 It was taken by a Drow, Can't remember the name and eventually into Zharrik and Thomas's hands.

Also for a short period -Before Kyrios took the throne, between 80-82 The Abyss was ruled by Jacob Arving.

Hello! Once again I'll share what memory I still have from back then, unfortunately I have no idea about timelines... :(
The Man of the Moon wrote:2. Zedeln (? BR to 9 AR ?) Mighty Archimage of the Arcane Tower, rumoured meber of the Silent Hand... nothing sure about him yet.
I am very sure that Zedeln actually never ruled the Citadel or Zanshibon.
3. The "Witch Sisters" Quimelya and Venmelya Grel'tâcae (15 AR).
The Abyss became a longstanding power under their 2 reigns, most of the Abyssal leaders were recruited during that time, including Nelyata, Lordaryn, Storm, Daric, Kenneth, Selene, Roman, Morke. Sure I'm forgetting some. This was also when Nelyata secured her longlasting influence as Lady of the Wastes. They ruled another time, their second reign was between Zeer and Nelyata.
7. Kenneth Koldhardt (After Storm resigned, he became to rule)
This one was a rather short rule, difficult too since Storm's long absences left the guild ruined.
10. Damieth Morpheus (Deposses Kâ'thea, but vanish soon, maybe slayed...)
Kâ'thea ruled before Damieth, succeeded Lordaryn.
14. Valaryé, the White Witch of Benwick (62 Ar - ?)
While Valaryé did kill Lordaryn, she never ruled the Fortress. It was Nelyata who led the guild until a new ruler was found. She didn't claim the throne at that time though, so maybe call it time of the empty throne or something?
15 (?). Jachard Menseph
16. Selene, the Eldritch Mistress. (Around ~60th AR)
17. Roman Kelm and Morke
18. Lillia Aylows, Queen of the Abyss (As First Knight Lady Nelyata Wennarnes) (69 AR)
Alright, here I am not entirely certain... I think it actually was:

14. Throne is empty, the Lady of the Wastes defends it from anyone until a new strong leader is found.
15. Selene, the Eldritch Mistress. (Around ~60th AR). Paush sponsors Warlocks, they become a powerful force under Selene.
16. Throne is empty, the Lady of the Wastes defends it from anyone until a new strong leader is found.
17. Lillia Aylows, Queen of the Abyss (As First Knight Lady Nelyata Wennarnes) (69 AR). Mostly known far the continued war against the baatorians under the Lyons family and control over Wharftown through Nelyata. The Wharftown Clash happened during Lillia's reign, might help with the timeline!
18. Roman Kelm and Morke.

23 - 1 BR (?) [POL] Foundation of Zanishbon, the Iron/Shadow Citadel of the 363rd Abyss Layer. From the start, Zanshibon will be at war againt the Baatorian Stonehold.
? BR [POL] Keth first ruler of Zanishbon.
Zanshibon existed a while before the Black Citadel.
9 AR ? [POL] Zedeln, Mighty Archimage of the Arcane Tower, rumoured meber of the Silent Hand... could have been the Second ruler of Zanshibon.
Again, I don't think Zedeln actually ruled there...
15 AR [POL] Abyssal insurrection. the "Witch Sisters" (wizards) Quimelya and Venmelya Grel'tâcae took over the Fortress and made themselves rulers. Taking off on the reign of the former leader, a sorceror whose name was banished from the memory.
They overthrew Keth before his death already, should probably be mentionned, it was an interesting time of internal war.
62 AR [POL] Valaryé, the White Witch of Benwick rules the Fortress.
Mentionned above, Valaryé killed Lordaryn, but she is good aligned. Nobody dared claim the throne at that time.
~62+ AR [POL] Selene, the Eldritch Mistress. A powerful warlock rules the fortress.
And Paush started sponsoring Warlocks, an important point in time for the Abyssal Forces. Baator in turn also brings Warlocks to Arelith, to counter Paush's influence. Must have been shortly before Selene's rule.
69 AR [POL] Lillia Aylows, Queen of the Abyss and her trusted First Knight Lady Nelyata Wennarnes aids the Wharftonian during the Wharftown Clash.

Alright, I hope that helps a bit! I am certain there are quite a few other important things, I will keep posting if something comes to mind.

Yes ^^... I avoided the addition of this thread entries in the Chronologie as I felt was not acurated at all.

In your opinion, what entries are consistent from the timeline and your own provided entries?

Alright, let's see how much I can get together, this is what I would say is good to be included in the Chronology.

I do not remember if or when Zanshibon was integrated or when Paush has thrown us pesky humanoids out.
~10 AR (The Abyss) - Creation of a Stronghold in the endless layers of the Abyss starts, a Fortress soon after occupied by a sorcerer whos name was erased from history and his following, many of them Sharrans and remains of Allanna's cult.

~12-13 AR (The Abyss) - The Black Citadel faces a time of turmoil, as the Witch Sisters with a good part of the Forsaken try to overthrow their ruler. Quimelya manages to seize the throne from him, the Sorcerer is slain soon afterwards.

~15 AR (The Abyss) - Quimelya, the older Witch Sister, attacks the heavily fortified castle Benwick to free her imprisonned sister. While the besiegers manage to breach the gates and free Venmelya, saving her from execution, too many fall for them to occupy the Black Citadel any longer. They go into hiding with their remaining followers, supposedly in Wharftown.

Zeer and Cameo are in the Chronology already.

~19 AR (The Abyss) - The Witch Sisters reclaim the Black Citadel with renewed strength, establishing a longstanding force and the foundations of the Citadel's power for years to come through an aggressive recruitment politic. Many infamous villains start their careers then, among them Lordaryn, Daric, Storm, Jachard, Roman Kelm and Morke. Lady Nelyata secures her influence for many decades as First Knight, Emperess later and Lady of the Wastes.

38 AR (The Abyss) - Lordaryn claims the Shadow Throne, the third infamous Sharran Sorcerer-King to do so. As his First Knight, the Lady of the Wastes renews the Citadel's old alliances with Udos Dro'xun and the Banites, resulting in many victorious battles under Lordaryn's rule.

58 AR ??? (The Abyss) - Battle at the Balor Maw Lake
A number of Arcane Tower members are imprisonned by Abyssal Forces, resulting in a sieging force formed from Tower mages, Cordorians and an army of Benwick marching against the Black Citadel. Eventually, the Agents of Entropy emerge victorious, leaving not a single enemy alive. A great number of heroes found their end this day in the sands around the Balor Maw Lake.

50-60 AR (The Abyss & Baator) - Paush starts sponsoring Warlocks, soon after infernalists discover a similar source of power. This brings both sides of the Bloodwar increased following on the prime, resulting in the growing and forming of many fiendish cults.

~61 AR (The Abyss) - After a long and hard battle, the Third Sorcerer-King is defeated by the sorceress Valaryé, known also as White Witch of Benwick. His essence is destroyed by her, ending his devastating influence on the island once and for all.

That's all I could place in the timeline for now. I will see if I have time to work on this some more!

I tried to syntethize the entries... Let me know if are fine (or polish more if posible)

Onec we found agreement, I will include them into the Chronology.
Suggestion wrote: ~10 AR (The Abyss).- Creation of a Stronghold in the 363th layer of the Abyss that will be known as the Black Citadel. Soon occupied by a sorcerer whose name was erased from history and his followers, many of them Sharrans and remains of the cult of Allanna.

~58 AR (The Abyssal Black Citadel) - Battle at the Balor Maw Lake.
The Black Citadel became besieged by a combined army from the Arcane Tower, Cordor and Benwick to free some prisoners taken from the Arcane Tower. The Abyssal obtained a bloodthirsty victory, slaying the whole enemy army in a tragic day where a great number of heroes found their end.

50 - 60 AR (The Abyssal Black Citadel - Baator).- The Archdevil Paush starts granting powers to a large number of warlocks. Alright, I like it, i just found a few minor things:
~12-13 AR (The Abyssal Black Citadel).- The Black Citadel falls in turmoil, and the Witch Sisters (Quimelya and Venmelya Greltâcae) with a good part of the Forsaken seize and take the throne of the Sorcerer, who is slain soon after.
Corrected the name. And it wasn't them who killed him.
~19 AR (The Abyssal Black Citadel).- The Witch Sisters reclaim the Black Citadel with renewed strength, establishing a longstanding control. Many infamous villains were forged in that black anvil: Lordaryn, Daric, Storm, Jachard, Roman Kelm and Morke. Lady Nelyata builds and secures her influence for many decades under the shadow of many rulers to come.
She served a lot of rulers as First Knight after the sisters.
38 AR (The Abyssal Black Citadel).- The sorcerer Lordaryn claims the shadow throne of the Black Citadel, as its third Sorcerer-King. Lady Nelyata, his First Knight, renews the Citadel's old alliances with Udos Dro'xun and the Banites, granting success during the Lordaryn lead.
He wasn't third ruler, but the third infamous sorcerer to rule. He's often been compared to the two former for that reason among others.
~58 AR (The Abyssal Black Citadel) - Battle at the Balor Maw Lake.
The Black Citadel became besieged by a combined army from the Arcane Tower, Cordor and Benwick to free some prisoners taken from the Arcane Tower. The Abyssals obtained a bloodthirsty victory, slaying the whole enemy army in a tragic day where a great number of heroes found their end.

Hnnrh... I am 99% sure Zedeln was up to no good looong before Keth. Since sometime in 2004, and Keth was a major evil overlord late 2005 and about a year on from there if memory serves. But it's very sketchy.

Updated in the original thread... here

Let me know if something still wrong. Once all was right, I will move it into the main Arelith Chronology.

Postdata: I removed certain names from the history... If enough people thinks their names should be rescued, we can vote and decide... other way, let's forget them and impersonate them. The mention of unnamed evil villains also adds some spicy and mystery
