High enough bluff/perform score, beats the death script. (UD

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:

  • implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
  • the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
  • the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to fix everything.

Auto Hostile is gone. Kill scripts are still in place.

Why is this something that needs to be implemented? Surely it doesn't matter unless you plan to start going into cities as an underdarker, which would be Very Silly, I suspect.

You're right. Participating in the forums was a mistake. Won't do this again.

Not so silly at all. Assassinate someone? Gather information? Meeting with someone that doesn't realize you're a drow? It's all been done. There are still ways into the cities.

I usually pay people to smuggle me into Wharftown, assassin creed style with people all around me, or purposely get captured, then escape once in the town... the second option causes all kinds of crazy with the town... mostly panic

if this really happened, then Yasdia would be everywhere. the question you must ask yourself, do you truly want Yasdia everywhere?

Well, I wont get to broaden my RP opportunities by waiting in UD or hoping to find someone in a random surface cave.

Please someone correctme if I'm wrong, but I've heard that if your underdarker is partied with a none-underdarker charactre, they can get past the script?

If so - Why not travel with an outcast/slave?

I can confirm it works. Escorted a drow through the settlement outside , who was in the party. Did not die to any scripts.

Exactly. You actually have to do this via RP with a real person, rather than just getting a pass through the defenses for having a high skill on your character sheet while putting zero effort into representing your disguise.

Disguise as a mechanic needs to exist, but it frustrates me how often I hear of people hiding behind the mechanic without making any real attempt to actually disguise themselves. It's likely that I will completely rewrite it at some point, but only once I think of a better way to do it.
