What I mean is currently the weapon stuff is SUPER COOL. I like having more than one focus, but, it'd be very nice to have something more general than specialist in one kind of weapon. It also currently benefits one handed edge over everything.
The idea would be in additional to maybe these focus we could have kits that focus on a particular class, culture, race, etc.
Something like:
ROGUE (gives you focus in all rogue weapons)
Samurai (gives focus in all traditional wa/kozakuran type weapons longbow, wakashasi, katana, spear, naginata)
Knight (Lances, Swords, Morningstars, etc)
You get the picture. Would help with weapon diversity and being able to have characters who have different modes of attack.
Add new 'weapon focus proficiencies' that are KITS, rather than weapon categories.

This might be needlessly complex, though I do like the idea of more kits.
It took a while for the team to decide on how to manage these groups in terms of balance, so I don't want to open up that for development again so soon.
