I'm fairly certain this is possible to do - and just involves having the baseitem's icon numbers changed around to match whatever is available for those categories - boots might be the most complicated as its the only one that has customizable, varied parts.

But ring, amulet, gloves, bracers, and belt all have things like this with tags that can be plugged in / changed In Game.

This would largely be symbolic but it'd be amazing so you can make holy symbols to deities sort of resemble something fitting (no more Lolthite amulets that look like lollipops).

I'm going to reject this, as people already have the option to buy whichever amulet appearance they wish to use when making one from scratch, and recipe/loot items can sometimes have a specifically chosen appearance related to their description.

Rejected.
