Andunor District Citizens should be able to see Outcast Tags

We will file suggestions here that did not make the cut. Don't expect detailed responses, but the most common reasons are:
- implementing the suggestion is impractical, or too much work for the gain
- the suggestion is thematically against our design philosophy
- the suggestion is too detailed/low-level
Keep your suggestions broad and focused on RP benefits, please, not detailed suggestions of how to tweak X class.

Andunor District Citizens should be able to see Outcast Tags

Post by Apokriphos » Thu Oct 24, 2019 10:13 pm

Citizens of Devil's Table, Sharps, Treadstone and Greyport should be able to identify outcast characters similarly to how surface characters can do so.

Andunor characters should have an alternative to having to force all newcomers to attempt to use the portal in the hub to check their identity. Not being able to identify said players severely hampers the possibility of roleplay with characters that do and dont belong in the city. It also makes it incredibly effortless for a surface player to walk around completely undisguised and undisturbed.

I recently witnessed several players bragging about this very fact. Please take a look at this issue.

Rejected, the outcast tag is related to those who live in those communities where the said character is ostracised. Allowing UDers to see the tag would effectively limit Andunor to visiting surfacers as I expect many would quickly become the target of PvP.

Finding out who is and isn't an outcast on the surface world can be achieved via espionage RP.
