Halfling monk

Post by sabrem82 » Mon Aug 03, 2020 7:43 am

I have this idea for a monk of the hin fist that grew up in a monastery in Luiren. I don't mind if the build isn't great as long as its fun and playable as I care more about the story in my head. So my question is halfling monk doable or is it a horrible idea?

There are some standard monk builds on the Discord channel that should be easy enough to use as a template for your own concept

Halfling monk is perfectly fine. Do you want a monk-heavy build, or are monk-dip builds okay?

I would prefer a monk heavy build. I found a human pure monk build on discord that I may change up to use. I've also saw that monk 20 fighter 10 is good but I didn't see a specific build for it.

Should work just fine, you'll be doing a bit less damage, because of small size, but if you don't mind that, then it's a fine build for you. I asked about monk dips, because there are kama-based builds that work pretty well with halflings, as well a ranged shuriken build I believe, though they usually have from 3 to 6 monk levels. If you want to go heavy monk, which is perfectly fine, by all means.
