Hiyo, I noticed that Sling, Shortbow, and Crossbow are rogue proficiency weapons.

Wiki says rogues get +1 and +2 to these weapons at levels 19 and 24 respectively.

How does that work with ranged weapons? If I have 19 "roguish" levels and use a +4 crossbow, is it piercing +5 DR (ex premo) or is it only the bolts it's counting (damask) so it's only +4?

I can attest it gets the Dr penetration and is awesome.

I've done a rogue with a +5 (up from +3) shortbow for penetration. It is the death of premonition mages. You get to pick one caster that you don't want participating in the next fight, and it's just gone.
