Swashbuckled Weapon Master

I know there are a million versions of this, but this is what I’ve come up with. So far I’m pleased but always looking for feedback.

Human
19 G -> 30

14
8
16 G
8

1-12 Swash - weapon master feats + Improved expertise (remember you get mobility for free so you have to take IE early or if you prefer can take blind fight and take IE later)
13-19 WM - improved critical and IE or BF
20 Swash - tumble and parry
21-26 Fighter - were taking all great strength for standard feats and EWF, AS, WS, EWS
27-30 Swash

With a little bit of MAD gearing and some potions we end up with some pretty solid numbers.

Assuming 12 str 12 int Gear + potions

48 AB Mdmask - assuming you 5% keen
29 naked AC with a rapier out
1-6 + 22 pierce + 10 slash
10-20 x 3 crit

+4 perm
+3.5 temp

43 average
129 crits

Little update because this has 3 “versions” in my eyes

Dex - 50 AC walking around with no weird buffs, but a lot lower damage

Str - 44 ish AC walking around, more dmg

2h str - 39 ish AC walking around, huge damage and more AB

Kinda fun- I like the middle of the road option but I definitely see value in the extremes

I suggest Swashbuckler 11/ Fighter 12/ Weapon Master 7, DEX based, if you want something more traditional. The damage gain from being STR based doesn't offset the AC loss, and your damage is already good (117 dmg on criticals on average) for a 1-handed weaponmaster that can reach 60 AC (70 on IE).

Interesting take on this, but I cant help but wonder why take SB at all, instead of going 13 rogue and getting edodge. What's the logic behind this class spread?

Well you’d need 9 SB for +9 int damage, 10 SB gets you +1 dmg +1 AC, then 11 SB because free luck of heroes vs nothing from 13 fighter or 8 WM

I was mostly filling his demand of Swashbuckler Weapon Master, but since you have asked, this build has 3 more AB (+1 Dex mod, +1 BAB, +1 Epic Prowess) and 3 more AC than the Rogue 13 one (+2 Swash Dodge AC, +1 Dex mod). It's strictly an improved version of the 20/7/3 for someone that wants a more fluid playstyle and isn't interested to go divine on anything.

I’ve kinda sworn off divine honestly. I understand why it’s good, I just can’t stand the wind up. I thought the meta in me would be able to handle it, but it’s just not fun for me lol
