I’ve got a dex build (no epic dodge) that has all the standard goodies but I have to choose between improved expertise and epic prowess. Anyone able to help point me in the right direction? I don’t really know if I need the 5 AC or not

5 AC is generally better than 1 AB. I would go with Improved Expertise because it will save your life in a lot of PVP's and PVE boss fights. Keep in mind even after you select IE you can still use the regular non-improved Expertise for +5 AC, -5 AB if you feel the situation calls for it.

Yeah, improved expertise for sure. There will come a time when you NEED that extra 5 AC to stay alive.
