Abyss vs Hells
It can be the IG renditions of them, the lore, the spawns; anything.

Re: Abyss vs Hells
Abyss for that sweet sweet chaos. Never really been to either IG so I can't comment on that. Chaos is love Chaos is life.
Re: Abyss vs Hells
The abyss is infinitely more interesting with its layers and lords.

Re: Abyss vs Hells
My character is looking for a recruiter from either sides of the Blood War, in order to get drafted into service.
The Abyss pays more, but your sargent and packmates could turn on you without given notice.
The Hells pay less, but their contracts are so impeccable that they keep you in indentured servitude with no exit clause.
And falling in battle in Hades is bad, like really bad.
Yep, where do i sign up?

All articles that coruscate with resplendence are not truly auriferous. Meaning: all that glitters ain't gold.
Re: Abyss vs Hells
Baator is so much more interesting than Abyss, imo. I find new stuff there, every time. It's so much more well thought out than the Abyss.
(I just so much wish that they would remove the spawns there, so I could enjoy the maps without getting disturbed) *Snickers*

Re: Abyss vs Hells
I think critically speaking Baator is way better, but I voted for the Abyss, because I really do love the constant terror of it all (random transitions, endless fire rain etc).
Some of the Baator areas are breathtaking though.

Re: Abyss vs Hells
Baator is by far better done, the sheer design of the plane far exceeds that of the abyss, starting at the portal in the ruined city the entire of baator even though it's got multiple paths feels like you are fighting through a layer of hell, abyss feels rather... lack luster in comparison.

Re: Abyss vs Hells
I personally prefer the Abyss, because chaos > law. Also when I played the PnP game some people almost treated devils as the good guys since I guess we humans are more tolerant to tyranny and see order as inherently good sometimes. So for some they were the "cool guys in black". Is that a trope? It should be a trope. Anyhow demons all the way, they are free, do what they want and truly evil.

I love Baator. I think Dis/Mentiri is a missed opportunity though
Re: Abyss vs Hells
Baator because the residents historically give you better deals.
Re: Abyss vs Hells
Played an evil campaign in pnp with my friend and I was a follower of Mephistopheles. I loved how complex the interactions and politics with the other Lords of Hell and their subjects is.
Also find ig Baator better and more interesting than the Abyss.
