Ranger Animal Messenger and Favored Terrain

Animal Messenger: An epic ranger with 20+ (or another number..) animal empathy, can once per rest send a message to another character, IF the target AND the sender are both in areas already tagged as [wilderness] . An animal of the same type as the ranger's familiar appears on the target and speaks in [animal] language the contents of the message. A nice way to roleplay contacts between rangers and naturewalkers across great distances. (suggestion can go for druids and shamans too of course)

(another option is to have the message be in common, and instead of the animal messenger "speaking", he would "drop a note in the floor with the following content")

Ranger Favored Terrain: In lvl 18, when the ranger gets the 20% movement speed in wilderness areas, he can also pick a favored terrain, where the ranger will get +5 spot, +5 listen, +5 hide, +5 move silently, and +5 animal empathy for the picked terrain. The terrain choices should be -very- narrow, as the choice is not only respective to climates, but to specific regions in the server where the ranger has become very familiar with, and of course only works in areas already tagged as wilderness. Examples: Dark Spires Mountains, Lowland Peninsula Jungles, Arelith Forest, Forest of Despair, Skull Crags, and have the underdark split into several choices as well.

(another option is to have the regular choices, such as Arctic, Coast, Desert, Forest, Grassland, Mountain, Swamp, Caverns and Lowerdark/Middledark/Upperdark)
