Book bags: Update with shelf functionality

Would it be possible to update book bags to use the functionality of book shelves?

The book shelves work better in two main ways. Books are alphabetical in shelves and books preserve their look and weight properties when used in shelves.

Migrating currently filled bags over could be a headache, but I personally wouldn't mind manually doing it for my own book bags.
