Thunderclap is a level seven 3 save targeting disable (fort vs. deaf, will vs. stun1rd, reflex vs. prone 1rd), that ignores SR and mantles and everything except Spell Immunity: Great Thunderclap, with an almost full screen radius.
What this means, practically speaking, is that this spell is pretty much never used for fear of disabling your own party members or their summons in the process, the latter of which will occasionally become homicidal towards you if a spell effect from you targets it.
Obviously this would be problematic if it could be spammed - but if it were made party-friendly and given an 18 second cool-down, I think it would see more use in PvE and not become problematic in PvP.
Edit: And as a TF, I already have the potential to spam this twice per round or alternate once per round followed by a missile storm, so this is actually a nerf of sorts, but I'd like to be able to use it when I run dungeons with a party.

Revisiting this spell to make it viable sounds worthwhile.
It may not be exactly as you describe, but I'm happy for a developer to look at it.
Approved.
