Thank you for all of the feedback and bug reports for these three new classes. They are going to remain on PGCC for a bit longer as we continue to fine tune, bug fix, and finish adding features.

SHAMAN:
1. Barbarian rage scaling lowered to ⅔ shaman level, added synergy with tribal path
2. Added some more spells, including stone bones, haste, and greater sanctuary. Full spellbook listed below
3. Increased max known spells by 1

FAVORED SOUL:
Added a custom spellbook. Full spellbook listed below
Changed epic bonus feats from Great Wisdom to Great Charisma

CAVALIER:

Portal Page Redesign

- Specific player-server information removed to make it more difficult to metagame

New command -badge

Used to add badges to your player card on the portal to highlight various things
On this initial rollout the only badge available will be "ama" or "ask me anything" highlighted with a question mark to signify that you are a knowledgeable friendly person willing to answer tells about questions in-game.

Note: To switch to classic-view, be sure to click on "Switch to Classic Mode" on the top left of the portal
Direct your anger towards Hoodoo. Cih and Titania were complicit in giving this man advice as well

- Shapechange and Polymorph Self can no longer be cast while mounted.
- Naginata critical multiplier x3 -> x2


- Shaman can now cast warcry. (PGCC)
- Favored Soul and Shaman do not get benefits from cleric domain abilities. (PGCC)
-Horse factories were nerfed. Cavaliers can no longer produce unlimited horses. (PGCC)

Which can also be used by typing

This command will list to the player everyone who has their tells open (via ama badge) and is willing to answer questions on the server which they are currently on. This should make it easier for players to find people on their server to ask questions to.

New parameter
dm

This parameter will apply a badge on your player card letting DMs know that you require their help. Basically a beacon to let DMs know that you need them.

-Hidden PCs now have a chance to notice when they're heard or spotted by another PC. This is an opposed Spot vs Bluff check after being detected by someone in your line of sight.

I've spent the day going over various bugs, fixing transitions, and the Radiant Heart rank problem

Attunement Potions

They should now work on every server, and I've added more locations that will lead to the Astrolabe.

Astrolabe
--------------

I've moved this to the C&P server, and fixed some transition problems. There may still be bugs with this, as there was a fair amount of code and area to revisit. Please keep me informed of any issues following this change.

Assorted Bug Fixing

- Following on from yesterday further fixes to broken transitions following the server transition and the relocation of the Astrolabe to the C&P Server.

- Various fixes taken from the 'Little Things' thread.

Area Facelifts
--------------------

- I've updated one of the Astrolabe areas, and given Castle Gloom a fresh lick of paint with a visual interior overhaul and some new features. I plan on adding a unique quest giver to Gloom in the next few days, concentrating on the Shadow Plane & Swamps, as I feel this castle currently lacks incentive for purchase.

Fixture Limits
--------------------

- Fixture Limits raised in Soulhaven Garden, Darrowdeep Castle, and Castle Gloom

Corpse Recognition
-----------------------------

- Another update from our new dev Inf, completing this viewtopic.php?f=27&t=26362 suggestion.

- PCs now have their current description included in their corpse description when they die.

Fixture Movement (From Msheeler)
---------------------------

- Now allows players to move fixture objects with -move_fixture along the z-axis now, up to 0.3 meters (up or down) from the PC's location. So they can only move it from ground location to a maximum of ground +/- 0.3 meters. It will now be possible, for example to move pictures up and down on wall locations, or be able to put something on top of another fixture like a bust on top of a table.

(Please be advised this fixure movement update is on a trial basis, given the capacity to do silly things with it.)

Helmets (Spyre)
------------

- Broken models that were not able to be salvaged were replaced. However, a new model was introduced in between to keep similar styles together. This does cause a shift in your helmet appearances by one. Please update outfits accordingly.

- Skull mask has been updated; eyes will now reflect the colour of the upper part of the helmet as expected.

- Additional helmet fixes for the hood and misaligned helmets are in the works as well as additional masks / helmets. Stay tuned.

Robes (Anatida)
---------

- Robe animations fixes.
- Halflings should no longer be invisible.
- More fixes to come with time.

Please update threads as necessary for anything that does not work.

Monk 5.0: Third Time's The Charm (Garrbear & Jack Oat)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Monks no longer get AC every 5 levels (this may not always show up on the character sheet).
-Monks get defensive roll at level 18
-Epic dodge added to the monk bonus feat list
-Monk SR is no longer lowered by breaches, but it still caps at 32
-KI strike 4/5 wisdom requirement lowered to 16
-Invisibility Purge no longer removes empty body.
All current characters with levels in monk will be granted a -relevel.


Wand Changes (Aniel)
--------------------------------
- Charges should now correctly incorporate classes that further CL progression.


Dispel Changes (Aniel)
--------------------------------

- Mundane characters now correctly have their total level as their dispel resistance for effects they create. A character is considered mundane when their caster level is 6 or less.
- Area of effect dispels will no longer try to dispel the highest spell level effect(s). Instead they will try to dispel all effects up until two have been removed.

- Misc Fixes (Inf)

- Spelling fixes as reported in the 'Little Things' thread.

Hexblade Class

In what I expect will be the last of our new classes for quite some time, Hexblade has been added to Arelith. Details are on our News Feed, and the class will appear on the PGCC server later today.

  • Customisation Options Added
    Full RGBA customisation of playercards. (Meaning you can control the opacity on either side as well.)
    Card Resizing
    Ability to pick specific static background
    All of the above will be persistent through the use of cookies. Don't forget to click SAVE after picking your color for it to save
  • Other
    DOM Parser and socket fixed. Page will update in real-time if kept open.
    Classic mode cookies made more consistent and reliable.
    Text-animation removed for the time being
  • Known Issues
    Player Card resizing won't function correctly on Microsoft Edge.
    Player/Character-names get cut off after card reaches certain size.
    Realtime editing stops functioning after a certain amount of ticks.
    (Just do your changes, save and wait for the changes to apply. Or refresh the page to re-enable live-editing)
    Card-colors get applied to classic mode (Reset to default, and then access classic without changing color)
If you're having trouble viewing the changes, or see odd glitches that I've not listed here. Be sure to CTRL+SHIFT+R on chrome or CTRL+F5 and see if the glitch persists. Cookies should be consistent now.

LANGUAGE Changes (From Xerah):

A 1d20 (skill check roll) is added to your chance to translate. The formula is:
[1d20 + BASE lore + monk level + bard level + harper level + lore skill feats + old backgrounds]/ 2

The max amount to translate is increased from 25% to 25 + monk levels + bard levels + harper levels. This is to make the harper/bard knowledge more useful as well as Tongue of the Sun and the Moon from the monk.

Increase languages for bards and harpers; Lvl 5 harpers add +1; bards add +1 per 10 levels

Harper Priests: Celestial
Harper Mages: Draconic
Harper Paragon: Celestial

Rogues: Thieves cant req 7 rogue levels
Ranger: Animal req 6 ranger levels

Firbolg: Add Elven
Fey: Add Elven
Gnoll: Remove animal, Add abyssal
Minotaur: Remove animal, Add Abyssal
Yuan-ti: Add Draconic and abyssal

(some of these may be modified down the road if other languages are added)

Hexblade (From Garrbear)

Thank you all for the feedback! The following changes will be on PGCC after the next reset. Your patience is appreciated as we continue to work on this class to get it in a good place before full release.

Curse Weapon Enhancement changed to 1 + (Hexblade levels / 7) -- still +5 at 28
Hex debuffs changed to 1 + (Hexblade level / 10) -- 4 at 30

Hex is now an instant action - The cooldown resets on target death

Various vfx changes to provide better feedback

Curse weapon effects except for the enhancement bonus only apply to a hexed target.
Curse weapon effects no longer multiply on critical hits (the damage has been adjusted accordingly)
Curse of Hypocrisy: 1 pos/neg / 7 levels (caps at 4/4)
Elemental Curses: 1 + (1 damage / 4 levels) (caps at 8)

Curse of Draining Removed
Curse of Worms Removed

Maledictum of Worms Added (requires 28 hexblade): As a standard action, create an area of effect cloud that prevents anyone (including the hexblade and their allies) from being healed by the cure/heal line of spells. Other spells, healing kits, feats, etc. that provide healing bonuses are unaffected. Leaving the cloud will end the effect. The AoE lasts for 1 turn and has a 5 turn cooldown.

-Curse of Hypocrisy and Curse of Blood scaling changed to 2 + 1 at 22, 25, and 28. This raises the cap for Curse of Hypocrisy from 4/4 to 5/5 pos/neg damage.

-Curse of Sacrifice Scaling changed to the above on self, and double the above on target.

-Added 5% physical DI per 10 levels - this is lost if you multiclass.

Cheval De Frises will now last 3 RL hours while placed. The timer only ticks down while the object is placed down, you can pick it up and move it, but the timer will resume after you place it back down.

Several updates courtesy of our diligent contributors. Groups are done by contributor:

DangerDolphin:

Ranger
------
- Rangers level 12 and above revisiting wilderness areas they have explored earlier will have the map revealed for them
- Rangers level 18 and above gain a +20% movement speed aura while out of combat in wilderness areas. This applies to all nearby party members and animal companions, summons, etc. It will not stack with Barbarian or Monk movement speed bonuses.

Inf:

Pale Master
------------
- Can no longer touch themselves to cause paralysis or death.
- Deathless Master Touch (DMT) now casts Control Undead on hostile undead. You can cast it again on any undead dominated by you to release them.
Note: Undead dominated by DMT have to be released this way; the right-click radial menu won't work on them.
- Undead graft's paralysis touch now heals for 1/2 Deathless Master Touch to friendly undead.

BHR55:

Bladethirst
--------------
-Now work on all new melee weapons.

GR Shadow Con Web, Shadow Con Grease, Kyristain's, Gr Shadow Con Flame Arrow

-Now have the advertised DC.

- Remove Disease is now on a 3-minute cooldown rather than being usable only once per rest.

Invisibility
------------
- Invisibility, Invisibility Sphere, and Improved Invisibility now have a longer duration with illusion foci. Greater Spell Focus increases the duration from 1 round/level to 3 rounds/level. Epic Spell Focus increases it to 5 rounds/level. The concealment on Improved Invisibility remains unaltered.

Yuan-Ti
-------
- Yuan-Ti can now be any evil alignment upon creation.

Drow Height
-----------
- Male drow have shrunk 15% while female drow have shrunk 7%. These changes are retroactive.

AFK Prevention
--------------
- Players that have been inactive for 30 real life minutes will automatically be disconnected from the server and may freely reconnect.

Gifts
-----
- Gift of Unique Favor and Gift of the (Un)Holy have been replaced with Gift of Devotion. Gift of Devotion does what both previously did, and also entitles the character to piety gains per in-game hour as clerics receive. Characters with either of the old gifts will have theirs upgraded automatically.

Bardic Knowledge
----------------
- Any class that grants this feat will receive half of the lore bonus towards scroll usage.

Dispels
-------
- Dispel resistance is now more reliably calculated correctly.

Spyre:

Scry
----
- People who detect whether they have been scried are now able to distinguish the detection in their logs easier. A private message, only visible to the person detecting the scry, will appear above their head and be green in the combat log.

Assassin / SD Gain Rogue Speed Increases
----------------------------------------
- Assassin and Shadowdancer now benefit from the in-stealth rogue speed increase.

Trade Skills
-------------
- Forging renamed Smithing.

Assassins and Track
---------------------
- Assassin now gains the feat Track at level 1 automatically. This grants them the ability to read tracks like a Ranger would, as their levels already accounted for this.

Sibayad
-------
- Sibayad Peddler added.
- Sibayad Speedy is stationary with his own stall.

Warlock
-------
- Shadow Evocation removed from Warlock spellbooks as initially intended.
