Re: skin color restrictions

Since the wild elf award lock I have never seen big issues with skin colors not matching the lore of the race.

If it is as you describe, it feels a bit too restrictive indeed.

Sharps Theatre turned around statues

The two statues below are turned with their faces toward the corners, instead than toward the room. It looks like a small oversight with the rotation. They are just in the first room from which you enter in side.

Sharps Theatre feedback thread

I reiterate that the area looks amazing. But this thread should be good for feedback. I am exploring it right now, and I noticed that among the stage dressings there could be an Underdark/drow interiors one. Ideally also a tribal interior, for stuff related to goblins/orcs/etc. The current city them...

New Sharps

I am at a loss for words. This is simply amazing. The theatre and the troglodyte house are just chef's kiss.

Thank you for caring for our little marvelous Underdark, devs!

Re: Metagaming

One that always bothered me was that hand spinnerets, despite being a racial weapon, are alignment locked. Thus, as they are super common and have insanely high umd DCs, they often out non-evil drow. It would really be nice if the restriction would be updated to be for drow, and not evil elves.

Re: Award cycling races: Giants

I am not interested in playing a half-giant, however I would prefer that overpopulated races be put on application for a while, rather than out of rotation. This way, there can be a bit more flexibility in handling them or regulate their presence. It felt that the giants create nice rp around themse...

Re: Surface Evil Needs Another Home

Or how about we actually do something interesting with shadow Wharftown? It was a cool and unique place for seedy folk from above, below, and other planes to meet and rp. Now it’s a dumpster fire and has been for some time. It’s a missed opportunity imo for a more “useful” area that could be fixed ...

Re: Summon Adjustments

After all these months and experience with the summon changes since sequencer introduction, my feedback is that I do not like such a streamlined system. I used to love playing totem druids and go around doing average PvE content with the swarm, but part of the fun came also from how I could tailor t...

Re: Timer on Roll

Just a small reminder, though: many of the greater award races and even some major ones are hardly rare creatures. They are at most uncommon to be seen as playable characters in a normal D&d campaign. An ogre or a tiefling can hardly be called incredibly special or really exotic. We even have the in...

Re: New Area Content Poll

Planar Content, because it is usually the closest thing to extra areas for roleplay that can appear for Underdark players. I would have voted settlement, otherwise, but only if they were settlements and places where Underdark races can play. Overall, I am not terribly interested in the surface-only ...

Re: Westcliff would be a neat actual settlement

It used to have more facilities, but they were reduced in order to emphasize Guldorand proper as a settlement. Was it a good decision? I am not privy or familiar with Guldorand enough to say, but there sure were people who were sad about that development back then. In general, I think that the move ...

Re: Timer on Roll

I think that the award system should at least use a pity system, if anything. Right now it is on the level of an extremely punitive gacha game. Even though nobody has to play such races and that they are not required to RP well, there may be good reason for somebody to like giants, tieflings or some...

Re: UD Resources

For the feathers we could add an area with dire corbies as enemies. They are barbaric Underdark creatures that lend themselves well for a low level dungeon. I think the main issue would be to find them a suitable model. https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/prefab/creature/rlcore-denizens-darkne...

Re: Good enclave for evil writs?

Andunor has at least two writs where you have to kill spiders. With the same logic, most drow would have started a civil war against those who take those writs. In reality nothing significant ever happened because of this, so I doubt having good enclaves should attract any do gooders to protect them...

Re: Good enclave for evil writs?

A deep gnome village could be such a site. Alternatively also a dwarven settlement, or a mongrelfolk one. Rebellious slaves or a base of rebellious slaves could also be another option, and a fitting one for the settlement of Andunor. There can also be some surface npcs that can be targeted. Perhaps ...

Add grenades to the trapper's toolbox

As per title, rogue grenades and grenades in general would be a nice addition to the items that can be stored in the trapper's toolbox.

It would be both thematic and practical.

I recall Lilian Williams' player reported this bug some time ago. Apparently the loremaster languages might still eat up slots. So you should probably learn all languages you want before taking loremaster languages, apart maybe for the unlearnable one.

Very curious then. I am still regularly getting the bonus with arcane anthem. I wonder what is going on.

I recall once ago bard song used not to fire its bonuses in some circumstances. Perhaps this is happening right now?

Re: Arcane Anthem UMD + Concentration Bonuses

How many hard ranks do you have in either of them? I am regularly getting the bonuses with both skills maxed at level 30. Keep in mind the formula is this: Bonus To Skills = Song Skill Bonus * (Hard Skill Ranks / (PC Level + 3)) If Bonus To Skills > Hard Skill Ranks, instead use Hard Skill Ranks. So...

A shame to see her go when I hoped we could interact further. I was pleasantly surprised to see, mostly by accident, how influential and well connected Aunrae Duskryn was. The roleplays we had were quite interesting and fun and it was lovely to see her leave a mark in the history of the Zurkhwood Gr...

Re: Pickpocket creature discrepancies

Following up on this I noticed that stingers on the other hand can be both pickpocketed and be susceptible to dirty fighting. So I guess the logic here is indeed a little faulty. If a stinger can be subjected to those so can a drider.

Stingers are set as race monstrous in examine for the record.

There are two portals in the Flood Plains, but at the moment they are named the same way, so it is not possible to understand which portal is which from their name in the portal menu.

Dirty Fighting Discrepancies

In general they are also bad as they take away a main way for rogues to trigger sneak attac...

Re: Pickpocket creature discrepancies

I guess it is not a bug then, but it is certainly weird for aberrations to be excluded as pickpocket targets. After all many of them are sentient and in some cases civilized, so they can have valuables. Other ones however are not, so it is tricky.
