Re: Titania!
Titania has been running a little plot for the Cavalry and they are just so patient with us it's not even funny, and the plot has been extremely well written. Thank you so much!

Re: Please, help me with my current character.
What part of the build are you having trouble with, specifically? I'm admittedly mediocre compared to some of the other people on this server but I can try to help.
Also if you're a member of the Arelith 3.0 Discord, they have a channel dedicated to being a soundboard for helping with builds, and ...

KERYWIN GREY TIDE AND CO??? I LOVE YOU
So close...
Thank you! Our little band of misfits loves running into you and yours, as well!
That was an AWESOME event. It felt like it had such a grand scale, and I loved the little rabbit trails of investigation we could go down. Props to Poe and Ava ...

Re: The IC-OOC Interface
IC should be separated from OOC to the best of your abilities whilst playing a character. That doesn't mean you can't have opinions about how mechanics should be handled, or how rules should be designed, items in the game, and so on. What it does mean is that you shouldn't be using OOC influence to ...

Can confirm that this happens at the Bendir caravan only - A group and I were trying to get to Guldorand and just plain couldn't. This was about two weeks ago, RL.

Re: Attributes seem to have changed?
Ah, that looks like that's what did it. I thought they needed WIS and not INT, but I figured I'd ask to be safe. Thanks, Skibbles!Skibbles wrote:Druids need wisdom, not intelligence.
Maybe intelligence was altered by the subrace she took?

Attributes seem to have changed?
Hi again folks!
So, my wife made a druid in our joining the server. I've never played a druid in my many years of NWN, so I'm pretty ignorant on the subject. BUT, she's under the impression that a druid requires a minimum of 10 INT to cast spells - which she's able to. But she logged in today, and ...

Re: Facepalm inducing spelling errors.
My wife is a very skilled writer and RPer. She's leagues better than I am.
But she has the absolute worst spelling errors.
We were RPing in our previous RP community, and in the middle of combat RP she meant to type: "In the struggle, Mraeka is shoved backward and loses her balance, sitting on the ...

Re: A Little Lost: The Returning Player Story
Otherwise, I suggest heavily consulting Iceborn's Wiki, because there have been a lot of changes. [New paths, new crafting changes, new posions, new death mechanics, a new death plane, changes to the old 5% roll, new races, etc.]
Thanks for the information! I'll definitely have to check that out ...

Re: PvP Death System
While I generally agree with what you are saying, Marauder, in my experience people will hide behind PvP rules/mechanics in those kinds of situations if they are able. Relentless taunting or aggression but saying no when a PvP request is put forward is fairly frustrating.

Re: PvP Death System
No. Punishing PVP as a whole is stupid. Because its a realistic part of the world we are in. People who arent willing to put up and throw down if the entire world is like that is boring. Conflict can be interesting. It shouldnt be the only solution. But to make it not worth it to take it as an ...

Re: PvP Death System
I've got mixed feelings on this system. Having just returned after a 5+ year hiatus, I know my opinion doesn't carry much weight but here goes.
I totally understand the sentiment behind it. It's pretty goofy to have someone die, only to walk by as if nothing happened (or re-instigate combat) about ...

A Little Lost: The Returning Player Story
Hi folks!
So, I used to play on Arelith quite a bit and was pretty involved in the community (under a different name and character), and it's been YEARS since I've popped in. But man, things sure are different! I have a few general questions, if you guys will indulge me.
