Whilst Gwen and Simone's story is finished, I am eager to hear about some of your other characters you are going to / are playing! Hopefully we encounter one another again soon!

Gwen Beregnor-Springscar Shelving Kudos
Writing these threads is always hard, and this one was made with no small consideration on my part. Yet after some deliberation and thought, I think Gwen's story has come to a natural stopping point and she's taken some time to spend with her wonderful wife off on the Mainland away from Arelith. Nat...

Re: Language Lessons
In short, languages are not intuitive to learn on Arelith. This has been established by many posts above this one and it would be fruitless to repeat this sentiment. However, I want to give the perspective from one of the "copy-paste" language lesson organizers (specifically the Guldorand one). I re...

Re: Technically Doodles
I figured I might stop trying to go for super complicated color, and instead I think I should stick with what I know I'm good at on paper: Simple line drawings with small splashes of color. As such, here is my next drawing! Another Arelith character. If you know them, you know them. https://cdn.disc...

I've kinda fallen off the art wagon, but I'm trying to climb back on it. And what better way than to put my art for all to see? As such, here is the first smidge of art. I hate this so much, she looks so off and just... yeah. But now you all get to see it and hopefully there will be notable improvem...

Re: how to write goooder
Stop thinking too much when you're writing. Xarge said mostly what I was going to say, but I'll give my point of view on the matter. I understand some people need to think, especially if English isn't their first language. But the more time you take thinking about what you want to say in RP or what...

I'll miss Ana.
Told Gwen to not care about her, ends up that Gwen cared about her deeply and would have risked her life for her
I hope to see her again soon. I need more of her attitude in Gwen's life.

Bumping the issue as I have been dealing with the issue as well, though I do eventually load in. It doesn't appear to be related to server lag at all on my part.

Re: Ships losing navigator
This is reposted so that the public eye of Arelith can see this. Description ========== As one might glean from the title of this post, there is a bug when the ships being boarded end up with no fixtures or interactable NPCs. Specifically regarding the Weary Troubadour / Silver Stag: Breaking the gr...

Re: Cultural Issue - description of female/male PCs
I want to contribute, yet with the preface that I am not an expert on any of these topics. I'll start by answering some of the OP's questions. 1) Yes, I've seen such and experienced such, but I think both male and female characters are guilty of this. That, and I think the biggest offender is the ov...

Re: The Kudos of Rayne Windbrooke
While I've not had the displeasure of seeing the information in-game about Rayne's passing, Gwen will truly be heartbroken. So much of her time spent with Rayne was to offer an ear to an individual that was so afraid of being judged for what she believed was right, and her attempt to insert herself ...

Re: Conflict and the surface.
I'll preface this by saying that I'm not an authority on any of these topics and all of this is from my own perspective I agree with many points made on both sides, and I applaud that people can have civilized discussions about such topics. I wish more topics were handled with such tact at times in...

Magic Potion Bottles x10 : More locations please!
As the title suggests, there are very few locations where you can purchase magic potion bottles in stacks of ten. The places that do sell potion bottles almost require players to develop carpal tunnel or use a macro with the amount of clicking and dragging they have to do. And the places that do sel...

Upper Shyr (Meadows) - Fixture Limit
A simple request / suggestion. If the Upper Shyr (Meadows) area could have its fixture limit bumped from 10 allowed fixtures to something more comfortable (20 or 25?) that would be appreciated. Additions to the shrine that was made there are not currently possible with the current fixture limit.

Re: What does your character do when you're not logged in?
Gwen most definitely the majority of her time taking care of matters that aren't particularly interesting for roleplay. Making sure clothes are properly hemmed, equipment is in working order, crying over making more spell components, purchasing food outside of trail rations. Also making sure those s...

Just bumping this. All boats in both the Crow's Nest and Cordor Docks also are not accessible for refreshing. As well as the Underdark ship ( I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me).

Kudos : To the New Order !
I've done it before, and I doubt this'll be the last time. But this thread is a kudos to the newly formed 'Order of the White Stag'. Each and everyone of you is going to get a little blurb of thanks and how much I adore you... so expect a wall of text. What order you appear is in not to indicate any...

Re: An Ink-Stained Diary
This night, no candlelight could be seen lighting the lonely corner in the keep. Yet the sound of pen scratching on vellum was still heard softly. If one had cared to look, a pair of mis-colored motes of light could be seen in the dark. I messed up. I messed up and messed up yet again. I had decide...

Re: An Ink-Stained Diary
The sound of an ink pen scratching upon vellum could be heard once again in the dark castle hallways. The half-elf writes with a renewed vigor, her pen strokes threatening to tear the fragile vellum apart at the pen's nib tried its best to keep up with the woman's writing... I finally found someone...

Re: An Ink-Stained Diary
The dark haired half-elf could be seen asleep at the table with the single candle, hand twitching from time to time. A pen was in her hand, a line dragging down the vellum page, a journal entry interrupted solely by exhaustion. The entry was later than the first, but still... there was a lack of da...

An Ink-Stained Diary
The soft scratches of ink upon vellum can be heard in the dark corners of Castle Darrowdeep, a woman penning her thoughts down to the lonely company of a single candle. No date is visible upon the page, the book appearing to simply be a stream of consciousness. These days trapped in the castle, stu...
