Parry/fighter shield bonus stacking.
Would it be possible to add the fighter shield bonus to off hand parry so it stacks? The reasoning being this: To get a +6 bonus from parry, you need to invest 30 sp (which can be considered quite the investment.) At the same time, you can just use a shield for a better result, as an example: you're...
Re: Drow SR
I would trade that sr for another major any day. The dex/int/cha only helps with some builds. The 26 sr won't help a wm, or many other class combinations. It's also unlikely you'll need all of them for a build, esp with how dex builds are doing these days. The drow could use something, due to that ...
Re: Drow SR
Svrtr is right, and to think Drow are actually disadvantaged in any way, shape, or form, is to be completely out of touch with how mechanics work on the server. Easy there. Blunt responses aside, there are definitely downsides to playing a drow. Some come in mechanical form, some other just come wi...
Re: Drow SR
Even with only 1 major gift, drow are still unique in their massive stat advantage. Where most races get +6 stats and a -2, drow sit at +8 stats -2, not to mention drow uniques. Throw on on top their FREE SR which need I remind you before had a whole 90% CHANCE TO ENTIRELY NEGATE A WoF scroll, them...
Drow SR
Hey, While I understand a nerf is required every now and then I keep asking myself, what does the drow have going for them at the moment? 26 sr/helmet of protection is a necessity for a caster. 32 sr mostly helped against the wof scroll spam that tends to come down in pvp. Some dungeons might have c...

Re: Ranger Blade Thirst
At this point, I'm sure we can agree that we disagree on the topic! There is always a trade, even if you don't go down the path of exotic for kukri/two-bladed. (Two-bladed is the way to go as it is right now imho.) The fact that you don't always have blade thirst active is really something you need ...

Re: Ranger Blade Thirst
Compared to Hexblade, that can do the same sort of shenanigans as a ranger. I've some difficulty to understand the issues. I'm not really looking to argue, I am mostly trying to understand. To me this change would mostly open up for more choices - though I understand that there is a mechanical aspec...

Ranger Blade Thirst
Hello, After playing around a bit with the ranger blade thirst, I've figured out that using some sort of weapon like a staff/two-bladed etc is pretty much the optimal thing to go for. Partly because of the duration of blade thirst, but also since it only costs one spell slot to use it. Blade thirst ...

Re: Warlock Update
Warlock is a cool class which I've always found a bit lackluster on Arelith. And here's the fix!

Re: The Big UMD Change Thread
One thing that came to mind, was to implement the "Able Learner" feat. Which would still be an investment in itself, but give people a chance to bump up their lore skills.
This would give low SP classes a chance to use some magical items?
This would also open up for some creative characters.
