Can also have your friendly pack mule Strength brute carry a cooking pot for you. Probably makes for cool roleplay to have a 5 minute pause for OOC things and campfire roleplay before continuing. No need to carry a pot, when you can just carry firewood (0.1 lbs each) and make a fire to cook with 😊

If it's a stackable item, another method is when you're crafting more of the same item, remove the original stack from your inventory before putting in your crafted batch, then add the old stack back. The old stack should merge with your new crafted stack, and it should properly belong to you.
