Re: Mechanics, FOIG, and Lanterns

It is immersion breaking to claim Elvis the Elf's helmet which is at 100% is not worn properly/and or broken enough to see a gap within it and power pose stating his eats are shown. It is an attempt to win and metagaming. Take this elsewhere. This is not true on Arelith. It does not work that way o...

Re: Mechanics, FOIG, and Lanterns

That sort of hand waving has led to people telling my fully covered elf's that their ears were showing when a hood is worn, and the ears were not in fact showing. As for books being the answer to things. There may be a blue haired hin of mine whose name is Liar that may or may not write books with ...

Re: Mechanics, FOIG, and Lanterns

Not that they should have to, my character should have a minimum amount of information about what these auras are from the get-go, otherwise there's no good reason why I should be able to distinctly tell them apart for what they are. If I don't know what an aura is or means, how do I know it's a wa...

Re: MEGATHREAD - DWEOMERCRAFTING REWORK ON PGCC

Use CHA addy bracers (with +6 perform/bluff/leadership)

Put +1 bluff on it; -11 points remain.

Attempt to put +1 leadership on it, does not let you.

Goal was to reduce two of these down to 1, apply a rune, and then enchant.

Re: Adventure XP - pool size

My general trends are the same, low to start. Gets up to 50k ish somewhere in the late teens, slowly drops down after more RP happens. The last few characters, I have hit 0 adventure exp fairly near 30. Highly valuable. It is really bad if I'm RPing and I don't have a pool. If I drop below 5k, I ma...

Re: Mechanics, FOIG, and Lanterns

I don't know if anyone would have been able to figure out the maur boon if they didn't know the exact phrasing from the actual code. Maybe there is an IC way to figure this out, or someone could brute force it for some reason.

Re: Summon Adjustments

I definitely was surprised when I found out I could use that death slaad and it did not die instantly in a few high level places I could take it to (I still do take henchmen, but I don't guard the slaad). It felt about the right strength for a 6th level summon spell to me. That said, I do not see an...

Re: mass bear disabled on purpose or bug?

Your question was answered in that last thread. This is not a bug and it is intended. It has been like this for over a month and it was announced so you probably just never noticed.

Some of those Cordor noble houses are super dated inside. The builders do such a better job now that it’s pretty noticeable how much things have improved.

I do think that Ranger was one of my easiest solo leveling to 30. Were you working off of a build?

Re: Summon Adjustments

This entire thread is full enough with specifics that should provide ample examples from a much wider variety of players, classes, and dungeon run styles - enough to hopefully show that across the board, it's hurt everybody.[/color] Yep, lots of good feedback in the thread. However vague posts do n...

Re: Summon Adjustments

Then they nerfed the states of all the summons to be wet tissues to be shredded in a moments notice by anything remotely the same level as you. I've been playing a level 30 melee bard doing runics using a death slaad. Obviously, I'm not going to the hardest places on the server, but I certainly don...

Re: Why elections need a run up period

It works that way in politics as well (At least in Canada). The people in charge decide when to call one. It is all part of politics. If someone does have aspirational aims at winning an election, they should start preparing right away and be ready for it. If they're not? Then they have another mont...

Re: Quarter Ownership

I'll just pick the one with storage unless my character actually needs a nice place so that someone else can have it. So, generally, this means, vaults, caves in druid groves, small inn rooms, etc. I take forever to decorate so I'd rather visit someone else who is better at that. If my character is ...

Suggestion box isn't closed, then? Suggestion Box is closed. If you have feedback about how an existing system works, then use the feedback forum. The difference between feedback and suggestion on an existing system is fairly murky. The suggestion forum can be seen as something for new ideas (build...

Re: Quarter timers

I’m really not sure why you've decided to post so aggressively about this but please do try to act with some tact and consideration when you post on this forum. Ignoring all negative implication you’re trying to post with, these reasons are quite mundane. Developer reads something on forums/discord....

Re: Quarter timers

IMO, most of the supply and demand issues stem from every PC wanting a home simply to have a chest for storage. I'm not sure that is true. While it is true for me for most of my characters, I don't think that view is that common, otherwise, places like the arcane tower wouldn't be empty all the time.

Whereas before the change, the person with the highest search score are often the looter so that we can maximize our looting potential

Re: Search

It never mattered who was doing the looting. It says so in the wiki and the feedback in the game. I’m actually surprised you were always able to figure out who had the highest search but no one knew that. As for the mechanic, it rolls an extra time each time a party member succeeds for more loot. Re: New pixie model

Fairy lore is both not canon and cannon, no matter where you find it. Make up whatever you want. Use books like that (D&D source books and the like), or use books you found in your Gramdma's library (fairytales, historical stuff, etc.). The best part of Fey lore is that there isn't really anything t...

Re: New pixie model

They have the easiest IC explanation (even if they shouldn’t acknowledge it). It’s fae magic. Stuff’s weird. For example, my fae Briar, is a noble fey who literally takes form of a briar to guard the Queen when she returns to the fae realm. When she needs to move, she takes form of the old pixie or ...

For the people thinking about playing a newly released class: There will be major changes, buffs, nerfs, etc. to newly released classes including Harbinger. This should not surprise anyone.
