Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
The loading screen for "Cordor (The Walled City) Seragrino Street (Guild)" is inappropriate for the area.
The area's ambient sound effects are also very strange for an interior area, it sounds like a busy marketplace.
Also the NPC house cat is still broken.

The description of the Lightning Shield scroll (at least, the one being sold by the umberlite priest at the Sencliff temple, has as only description 'Wand Mastery IV'.
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
First off, Greyport update. Amazing! Just a few nettling things found. Included map in screenies to narrow down areas.
Area: Underdark (Andunor) Greyport (The Red Tower)
Problem: The pets in the rooms (at least confirmed with the Squig) go hostile like normal nature life.
Area: Underdark (Andunor) Greyport (Temple)
Problem: NPC only sells a singular item/reset of certain stock.

Problem: Hover 'Shroom.

Also, there seems to be an invisible barrier around here. Can't even open the barrel and the crate.

Andunor Hub, Goblin Med-kit vendor:

The +3 Medkit and the +3 Medkit x10 stacks cannot be stacked, because they are graphical different.
(The singles do not fit the new +3 graphic)

Uldren's Wake:
There's a Bebilith, and because of the nature of their model, and hit-box, he - though not a hostile enemy - spawns right on top of the door-lever, which prevents people from going through unless they kill him, or move their camera awkwardly and zoom in. This has been an issue for many years.
I think these entities should PROBABLY be hostile given the ones on the other side of the Abyssal portal are.. and they seem like they're associated with the Uldrenites we just killed to find them while the world is shaking itself apart.. but if the idea is to show a shaking nightmare realm while trying to escape to a portal ... having to move your camera to zoom in on a tiny door lever because of a click-box model mechanic kind of distracts from this -- since these entities never go hostile. (Though I've noticed many people kill them anyways - and I heard you weren't supposed to kill non-hostile NPC's intentionally?)
Suggestion: Adding the animal AI that causes them to go hostile if you get close could be useful? Just thoughts..

The brass gears that drop from the Minogons in the Underdark and the Mylock cave above close to Weatherstone don't work for the
Astrolabe, despite having the same name for what's needed, which is bothersome to find out this is the 'wrong' brass gear after getting there through some struggle.

Not sure if this is intentional or not but the quartz node in the Hag's lair in the shadowplane is still quartz. I reckon it should be obsidian at this point, given that is what most of the recipes are.

Transit in Upperdark (Upper) Urae-Slananis (Encampment) is blocked
Bug: Transit in the North leading to the area marked as "Encampment" of map can't be passed
reproduce bug: try to walk through transit
result: cant pass transit, its like an invisible wall
remark: unsure if it might also be due to big character model (orog)

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
I've been through this a number of times, as have other characters. Your being an orog shouldn't affect that. I've no idea why this is. Can you possibly post a screenshot of exactly where this is?fulminea wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 8:22 amTransit in Upperdark (Upper) Urae-Slananis (Encampment) is blocked

EDIT: Okay, I found the issue. I can fix this for next reset (You were absolutely right, half orc models didn't fit through)
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Two quick items I noticed:
- The coral chest after the final boss in Ziggurat seems to still have old item styles in its loot table (got a classic looking uncut sapphire from it a couple days ago)
- Kashard's Rare Finds in the Andunor (West Wheel) has a sign saying he "Now stocks exotic weapons" in the description, though his selection is terrible (missing sais and I think some others) and they are not bronze weapons like other vendors.

Thanks Backlands. That merchant hasn't been updated in a long time. I'll do so later today.

This is a little thing.
In the Deep Wells, The Divinity Stone description has a line at the end referring to it as the Destiny Stone. I would assume that's a mistake.

In the Guldorand (Westcliff) lumbermill if you ask the master carpenter NPC who you can buy timber from, he says the proprietor. When you ask who the proprietor is, he says the name of the proprietor is on the board behind him.
There is no board behind him or even in the entire room.

Without Cavalier levels, the Paladin/Blackguard classes get a Cavalier description on Fearless feats.

When collecting yarrow, the leaves don't auto stack with leaves collected from other yarrow plants.
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
All of the cloakers on the server are showing up as moon elves if you inspect them. This is both on the shadowplane and in the cloaker tower.
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Extremely minor, just a misspelling.
Sibayad's Garden of Respite, the Turmish Bather NPC.
Her description lists Murr as a possible scent. Murr isn't a thing. But Myrrh is. Which is what I believe was intended.
This is so small and tiny, but it'd be cool if it got fixed.

Pandemonium: I don't think this is intentional~
Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
The neutral grey oozes in the slime ways on Skal also do this as of recently, previously the other hostile slimes just killed them.

The water that the Black Emporium in Guldorand sells does not work for crafting--I presume it is a separate blueprint/tag.

Re: The Little Things bug thread - V2
Hey.
This thread is huge and backlogged and many posts don't even have the info we'd need to fix them. I'm going to lock it, and as I work through it, delete the posts that have had their issues fixed, or that I can't resolve with what info was provided.
For all bugs, please use the bug report template. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22680
For now, don't bother reporting typos, I'll create a dedicated sticky for that with its own basic template (since the full generic bug template is overkill for those).
Before posting a bug report, please give the bug forums a quick search to see if it's been reported before and you can post on the existing thread. Time we spend trying to keep this forum manageable is time we spend not fixing things.
For other bugs, remember that if you reference an area, please use the FULL AREA NAME to help us quickly find and target issues there.
As always, thanks for your patience and compliance- the order and organization really does help.
EDIT: About ~530 total posts on this thread when I posted this. Start the countdown...
