Description of Bug Experienced:
1. Tenser's Transformation is not maximising the temporary hitpoints of a specialist Transmuter
2. Tenser's Transformation is not giving the +12 attack bonus for a level 20-29 specialist Transmuter

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
1. Cast Tenser's Transformation on a Transmuter with at least 75% of their levels in Transmuter

Expected Result:
Bonus temporary hitpoints equal to your Transmuter levels x6
Base Attack Bonus increased for your Transmuter levels from 0.5 per level to 1.0 per level and +1 Attack bonus per 10 levels in Transmuter, resulting in +12 Attack bonus with 23 levels in Transmuter

Actual Result:
Bonus temporary hitpoints equal to your Transmuter levels x1d6
+11 Attack bonus with 23 levels in Transmuter


Note
I am unsure if the Attack Bonus calculates your bonus based on total character level pre-epic, in which case it COULD be correct, or if it is supposed to calculate based on your Transmuter levels only. If it is the former, then it is operating as intended; if it is the latter it is incorrect and will result in people adjusting their builds to take best advantage of it by only taking multiclass levels AFTER level 20.

In any case, the bonus temporary hitpoint issue remains even if it is the former for the AB calculation.

I don't know why the HP isn't working, it worked fine for me.

You might be hitting the AB cap. It also compares your current BAB vs what a fighter would have at that level (assuming wizard = fighter). You should only ever get +10 AB from wizard levels (since everyone has the same AB in post epic) plus the transmuter bonuses.

Yeah, definitely not getting the maximised HP bonus for Transmuter, nor +10AB from my Transmuter levels plus the +2 for being a level 20-29 Transmuter. And it’s not because I’m hitting the AB cap of +20; I can still get a boost from Aid, Bless, Truestrike, etc. My guess is that it’s functionally penalising me for taking monk levels pre-epic.

Update:

I've hit level 30, and the AB issues seem to have resolved themselves.

The Temporary HP issue has not.

With 26 levels of Transmuter as a level 30 PC, I am getting 26d6 of Temporary HP, not 156 Temporary HP as I should be

I forgot to check this on the weekend, I'll put this back on the list.

Has this been fixed with the updates announced today for Tensers?

I believe Xerah looked into the temp HP thing. I haven't modified the spell in this regard, but feel free to test this and let me know if it works. If it doesn't, I can have a look.

Just tested, and it seems to be fixed.
