Druid shapes do not use correct race attributes

Post by Ordo.Lupus » Thu Aug 11, 2022 9:16 am

Description of Bug Experienced:
Finally got the wildshape on my druid but I noticed that I was missing some bonus spellslots from my Wisdom modifier. It looks like the base race is used instead.

Steps to reproduce the Bug:
Be a svirf with alot of wisdom.
using wild, elemental or plant shape

Expected Result:
Unaltered Int, Wis and Cha since these shouldnt be affected by shapeshifting

Actual Result:
Altered Wis and Cha resulting in loss of spellslots

The missing slots are restored after unshifting.

Not the case if the bonus spellslot is from gear.
It still indicates that while being shapeshifted that it knows what spells have been memorized but when returning to humanoid then these are lost.
Heck I even experienced the whole bonus spellslot to be missing thus having to reequip the Wis gear. I have yet to reproduce this entirely.

When you shift you lose inherent racial bonuses. so a svirf shifting would lose 2 wisdom and also gain 4 charisma. Dex, Str, Con replaced by the shape so you wont see the racial bonus to dex drop off. I imagine thats why you lose some slots as you are a wis based caster. You otherwise keep gifts shifted.
