Respawn Points Don't Perma-Bind

I've tried a lot of respawn points. I'm not sure how FOIG they're considered but I've tried at least three on Surface, two on CnP, and one besides Andunor's in the UD. They work at first from what I can tell but eventually they're always replaced by the defaults.

Steps to reproduce
----------------------------
Bind to a respawn point. Live your life. Wait through a few server resets. Chill for awhile. Eventually die. You probably won't have the respawn point.

Expected result
-----------------------
Respawning at the bound location.

Actual result
-------------------
At first, when I die within a server reset roughly (though this wasn't noted at the time) the new spawn points will work. However, after a lot of time and a few server resets have passed the behavior shifts to respawning at default respawn locations (although this seems to vary a little with character type. My character respawns at Sencliff's harbor now that they're a pirate for example.

Misc Notes
----------------
This a collection of observations across the same character who started as a regular human but became a pirate. I've noted times that he was either a non-pirate or a pirate on the off-chance tag status might be relevant. Just in case any other aspects of his build might matter, he's a Wildmage/Specialist mix as well.

I tried to be a little vague for less notable ones in case these are FOIG but I know some amount of accuracy is needed here...

-Surface: Hanging tree, non-pirate human and pirate human
-Surface: Arelith Forest, pirate human
-Surface: Umberlant respawn point, non-pirate and pirate human

-CnP: Shadow Cordor, both places of worship, non-pirate human

-UD: The graveyard in the city for people who like mountains, non-pirate human
