A bug when casting the predator spell, and when having shadow shield on you, when the random failure chance happens it goes through the immunities granted by shadow shield and the curse storm damages and hits you anyway.

The shadow shield should make you immune to the curse storm upon random effect from predator spell. I am a war-priest cleric with luck domain.

To my knowledge some of these surges are specifically setup to bypass immunities.
