I started a new character yesterday and level to around 6. When I logged in today I was level 1, in the character creation zone. I went through the process of picking my gifts a second time and let the zone. I was then placed exactly where I logged yesterday with the damage I had taken and the exact same facing. Just with none of my levels or inventory. Second time I have had this problem, last time was with a level 8 start character a few months ago. I have made and rolled characters between now and then as well so it doesn't seem consistent.
