Server Crashed

Just making a thread about the server crashing.

It was crashing often today. 3-4 times. Not sure if it's stormy at homebase or not.

I am told that at exactly 3:02 est. The server crashes (loses internet connection at least) every day. Not sure if this is known information or not and it's likely separate from the crashes that occurred earlier today as they were full reboots of surface.

This is the server's feature to remind my wife to go to bed... Smile

At 3.02am, our daily database backup runs. I think this is what causes the lag spike - but the backup is important enough that I really don't want to stop doing it. I'm not a mysql expert and there may be a better way of doing the backup with less impact, but having an up to date backup is worth the minor (and predictable) inconvenience.
