-investigation sites
So, one of the coolest things I've ever heard about FL is that there are locations in the world where -investigate will allow you to notice and read some bit of lore about particular places on the isle, on the condition that you had enough lore. I heard that some of these places were placed around main Arelith as well, but I've yet to come across any of them. Every time I find a spot that I think might have some lore behind it and try -investigate, I get a "There are no nearby bloodstains or NPCs to question".
I don't want to know any locations where people have found some lore (I want to find them on my own), but I'm curious about the necessary skills. I know lore is needed... maybe search as well? Or spot, or something?
I want to explore for this stuff, but I'm really not sure how I should go about building the character who can do it.

I don't think this has been ported over to the main server, unfortunately.

Re: -investigation sites
It has been added in at least a few spots according to Artos:

On FL, there are tiers of info you get based on how high your lore and search are.
Re: -investigation sites
Awesome--I might just have to try a character with high ranks in both and see what I can find.

He tried to add them, but they never worked properly on the main server, for reasons unknown.
I've bugged him about it a few times, but I don't know if it ever got fixed.

Question answered. Thanks, TRM.
Re: -investigation sites
Yeah, RamblingShortGuy got it. I added a bunch a long time ago, and they never seemed to work for some reason or another. I've looked at them, and they theoretically should be working. What I need to do is find out with Mithreas if we have some confirmed working sites in Regulith that I can look at, or if we're missing some crucial bit of code somewhere.
On a related note, I also ported over the wonderful Forest of Despair angry trees, but those don't seem to work either, despite the fact everything looks kosher. If Mithreas has an extra minute somewhere, maybe he can help sort this out.
They're both great systems that I'd love to see over on the flagship.

Angry trees? There have been treants walking around in there. I thought that was what you meant by "the forest is trying to kill you".
