Is it technically possible to actually make ingame animations reflect these?
As in, Stilled spells (or spells without somatic component) to have no hand waving animation. Or for Silent spells (or without verbal component) to not have the PC speak the magical jibberish they usually do?

I believe Silent Spell actually makes your character cast the spell without saying those incantation words.
But I'm not sure how Still Spell works, as I've never used that

Still still has all the glowy magic effect and hand waves.
It just allows you to cast in armor.
Silent removes (some) of the "speech", but not the sound effects that come from the spell itself.
