Character restoration?

So i dont know what happened but my latest lv 30 has vanished from the vault. I had no intention remaking him again and i don't know if some sort of bug or glitch erased him or if someone other then me logged in and deleted him for whatever petty reason. Is there anything that can be done? Can the old character be restored, or failing that can my new remake at least get restored to lv 30?

This may be something worth a DM report especially if you might suspect someone did this.

When was the last time you played it?

Was it on another pc? Different CD-key?

Did you use a different account name?

Was your character a remake of an old one but with the same name (this may be your problem)?

Rumor is there is some bug that is Auto deleting characters made at some point with some class combination or other. File a bug report and reach out to the DMs so the Devs and DMs can figure out the glitch

There was no glitch in the deletion of the character.

We've been reviewing the cases and its been user error - there was one person that was a result of making a character during the DB outage the other day. But aside from that, there's no glaring bug with it.

If anyone else has issues though, please do report and we will investigate like we have with the rest.

we have a criminal with unknown motivation. a criminal that has access to either your computer or your cd-keys. a criminal that must be brought to justice. we need detective pikachu on the case.

No one can access your account without having your full CD Key. So if you haven’t given it out, it’s secure.

But you did type -remake_character twice on the 29th.

You looked to have typed relevel at one point then decided to go for the route of -remake_character. Could be human error. But we will check the logs for any person accessing it that isn’t your normal login.

Its no problem, its already caused enough trouble for you. I will deal with the person shortly, he will no longer have direct or any kind of access to my computer. Thank you for the help.
