Undying pact summons
I have noticed that the undying summons is not an undead? Is that how it suppose to be in game?

Yeah, use animate dead/create undead/create greater undead and get necro focuses if you're undying.
The warlock summons are same as other warlocks would get and you're wasting precious feats on those since you get tier 6 undead on these spellbook spells and they're plenty powerful.
