Returning Player Deleveled

Hi all, it has been awhile. :)

I just wanted to quickly jump on an old character of mine (last played about 6 months ago). And when I joined the server I was taken to the start area as level 1 character and given enough XP to level back. I have trouble finding out why. Any info is much appreciated.
